Calzones good if you have sauce

We ordered 2 Meat Calzones, they had cheese where they are cut in the middle but not thru out. Makes it looks good when serving . But lacks taste. needs sauce to help it.. We'll think about something else if we go back.

OK, I'm from NYC. I grew up on the best pizza anywhere (sorry, Chicago). This pie resembles NY pizza in that it's round and has tomato sauce and cheese. End of similarity. The 'crust' isn't. It's more like doughy bread. The sauce resembles chopped tomatoes, not a real sauce. The cheese was OK. PLEASE learn what NY pizza is before... More

When a restaurant claims to have New York style pizza I expect a very thin crust. That was not the case here. It was good pizza but I was a bit disappointed.

We went in to eat a little late, about an hour before closing. Wait staff was very friendly and quick. The pizza was excellent and the atmosphere was good, too.

Been going to Johnny Bruscos for some time now and the pizza WAS great. SOMETHING CHANGED?! The pizza or Pie as we say in NY is awful. The crust is way too thick, sauce tastes like tomato paste from the can and the cheese is pure white and not browned. Seems this place is cutting corners with no more lemon... More

Very good food a little pricey. Overall very good wait staff, took a little longer to get the food but it was worth the wait.

I've avoided Johnny Brusco's for years. I typically don't like mainstream pizza due to the lack of sauce/spiciness, poor toppings (seems like there's always one bad one) and/or bad crust. My wife and I were out a few months ago and had a coupon for Johnny Brusco's. It was something like a large pizza with up to five toppings, two... More

I've eaten here on a number of occasions and it remains a family favorite. Just a hint, the garlic knots are to die for!

My son and I ate at Johnny Brusco's for lunch and both ordered sub sandwiches. They were great! Lots of meat and extras plus a lot of dressing, which I love. Additionally, the tea is awesome. It's brewed and not from a fountain, and perfectly sweetened. Good service, as well.
