I ordered the Muffaletta. It was great. We got Tamales and they were great. Atmosphere is funky and laid back which is good.

We ordered a pizza, as we have for years, and the manager said we could not add pine nut to half of a pizza on future orders. We did pay for the extra topping and when we picked up the pizza it was wrong. My husband tried to talk to the manager, who was unavailable. We will not be going... More

What a great find on our way through town. An eclectic funky little joint with an extensive (paper) menu. My husband had the jerk chicken dinner which had just enough heat and a delicious blend of sweet fruit. I had the key lime chicken sandwich which was deliciously zingy! Finished off with a great twist on a strawberry pie. Our... More

Today, I went to Cootie Brown's as my family and I have for many years. I ordered the nachos and asked that the cheese be melted. The waitress told me that she would melt the cheese under the chips. When I received my nachose there was no melted cheese under the chips and the chips and extras were cold. I... More

If you're traveling through close to Johnson City (so many do), make it a point to stop here. The vibe and rest to be waited on is worth the time to get something good for the soul and it's not the same 'ole cr_p sold all over the place along the interstates. Lots of great choices for everyone ....maybe too... More

Cootie Browns is another of those go to places where everyone can find something to suit them. I am a huge fan of the black bean bbq burger. It's simply incredible and the kids love the different styles of pizza here. Try the spiral chips for a yummy treat and don't forget dessert! Best pie in east TN. Enjoy the... More

Very casual, eclectic atmosphere. Kind of fun for a group but pretty loud if you want to talk to the person you came with. The food is very average with nothing we ordered really standout. The sandwich's don't come with a side and weren't cheep. I had a BBQ Chicken sandwich for $8. So... by the time you ordered a... More

Good place to take your family for very good pizza, sandwiches, and light meals. Eclectic, happy atmosphere. A bit hectic and worn looking, especially the kitchen, but it is a favorite with the locals. If you are a little adventurous give it a try.

Found this place a bit by accident but is was clear why it is a "go to" for many! Excellent friendly service by a staff that is well versed in what they do well. We had the homage chips with blue cheese-wow! Our waitress recommended the goat cheese burger and I could not have been happier! It was delicious with... More
