Best BBQ in east TN not advertised!

Been eating here for years, it's undoubtedly the best BBQ sandwiches and ribs around! Don't be fooled by the other more advertised locations that get the media because this beats them. Steak fries are great too and prices fair with very nice and personable staff!

My wife's cousin took us here and we enjoyed the food. You can get pulled pork or ribs. It restaurant has a old firetruck on display for the kids to look at and enjoy.

This was our second visit. The service was excellent. I had the Beef Brisket. It was really good and the portion was ample. My fries were crisp and tasty with the ranch sauce that I had with it. We both had soup. My chili was ok but my wife's French onion was really good. I noticed that the side salads... More

We went for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The service was great and the food was fantastic! Had chopped steak, brisket sandwich, French dip and chicken fingers! All was great. The owner even came by and checked on us! Loved the decor as well.

The food here is typical of any home style barbecue restaurant. It is slightly on the higher side of most, but not outrageous. Coupons can be found for a free drink which brings it down to a normal price. Overall a good call.

We have been coming here for over twenty years and notice the quality never changes. Amazing food and customer service! Making sure you have an excellent dining experience is always their top priority. Some of our favorites are the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, BBQ baked beans, The Chief burger, any of the freshly made salads, the BBQ chicken sandwich, chocolate... More

We frequent The Firehouse Restaurant on at least a monthly basis (I mean come on, it is BBQ after all) and seldom are we disappointed. If I did have to ding the establishment for anything it would be the absolutely ridiculous policy of paying for extra BBQ sauce when ordering takeout, and randomly at that. If you are dining in... Lets' see. They sat my group 45 minutes after the time for my reservation... they were out of many things on the menu.....they were out of ribs at 7:45. That's right a barbeque joint didn't have ribs! There are lots of restaurants in the area skip this one!

Their lunch system is great. Fast and the food is great. I love the chicken breast, fries, and lots of BBQ sauce on everything. Get there before 12 to avoid the rush.

Had a nice meal, but nothing to write home about. I had the pulled pork Carolina BBQ, cheesy hashbrowns, and coleslaw platter. They don't serve alcohol, so if you want to wash down your meal with a beer, go elsewhere. It is in a converted firehouse style building, so the environment adds an interesting element. Not sure I would return... More
