Having read many of the reviews, we decided to try The Firehouse Restaurant. If you are unfamiliar with the area, you will need the GPS for directions as it is a ways off the interstate. It appears to be a local favorite, and we were up for trying something different. They were crowded on a Saturday afternoon, but when they... More

BBQ chicken was a piece of frozen breast with sauce on it. :( Brisket was tasteless and dry, bun had a freezer burn taste. Potato salad was pretty average.

I love the Firehouse it is one my highlights when I visit JC. While I love the meat the best part are his sauces. Need to bottle them. Also the coleslaw not to sweet. Will always be 5 stars in my book👏😄

This is a an authentic firehouse that has been converted into a BBQ restaurant, so the decor is all firefighting based. The servers and hosts are all VERY friendly, welcoming you, thanking you for coming, and getting you everything you need with a smile on their faces. You must try the house dressing, as I have not found any comparable... More

A restaurant in a renovated firehouse..just had to try it. The bbq was very good.Lits of side dishes to choose from. I had the squash casserole and fried corn..delicious. Prices were average for the area. Definitely will be back.

The restaurant is located in an old firehouse with fire related decor. The concept is neat, however, the food was lacking compared to the competition.

Loved the settings, all the firehouse antiques especially the old engine right in the loby. Staff was friendly and service quick. We recommend everything we ate; potato skins, southern pulled pork plate, and pulled pork salad. Stopped in on our way south to Florida, would detour to come here again.

This is the place to go when you don't know what you're hungry for. Not only do they have bbq but they have the best salads, clubs, and sides to choose from. The desserts are not too shabby either. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!
