We met a friend at Firehouse for lunch. We were seated immediately and our server was not long in coming and taking our order. I had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and the fries. It was the best BBQ I have had in a long time. It was very tender and the Carolina BBQ sauce gave it the right flavor.... More

The staff here was especially helpful and friendly as, being from out of state, my sister and I were unfamiliar with some of the local menu items. The waitress was wonderfully patient with us, explaining everything and continued to be attentive throughout the meal. Amazing food! A plentiful plate (could have been two meals) was cooked and served to perfection.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food at this restaurant. It has a homey feel, and is decorated like the old firehouse it was. There is a actual fire truck in the lobby. We were there on a week night, and though the parking lot was full, there was no wait for a table. We had a wonderful waiter who... More

The restaurant is housed in an old firehouse. You get the feel that this is a chain but it appears to be a really successful, one of a kind. They play up the firehouse theme to the hilt. I had BBQ ribs and pulled pork. Both were good, however, I was still enjoying them late the next morning;-) Basic salad.... More

We traveled up from Florida and had bbq in Georgia, north Carolina, and Tennessee. This was the best service I've ever had!! The manager noticed we hadn't ordered the sliced pork ( which was the start of the firehouse restaurant) so he brought us a plate so we could try it out!! It was amazing!! The girl that was our... We (my husband and I) took my mom, who was visiting us from Atlanta, there for lunch. Being new in Johnson City, it was our first time at the restaurant. It was a great meal with super service. Great portions for the price and a very enjoyable atmosphere. We will certainly return!
