My husband and I visited Jack's City Grill during a trip to Johnson City, TN in June 2015. This place is, to say the least, quite eclectic. I'm not even sure how to describe it properly, but I'll give it a go: quirky, colorful, flea market-style finds, cluttered, overwhelming, DIY-gone-weird, funky...that may cover most of the bases. I'm really not... More

I've lived in Johnson City for most of my life and consider Cootie Browns to be one of the best restaurants in our area. Having said that, Jack's City Grill, owned by the same owners as Cooties, is nothing more than a last minute choice for me. Jack's has one advantage over Cooties. It stays open until 11 on Friday... We recently had a large group event at Jacks. The food was great and service very friendly. There were some mixed up orders and wait time for kids food was long but we were a large group. Worth visiting.

We love Cootie Browns, knowing they also owned Jack's, we knew we were not taking a chance on the quality of food and service. We were not disappointed. We both had the jack burger, we liked it.

Greasy, overpriced, and the manager didn't even care we decided to leave. I won't gross you out with the details, but we will definitely never go back, inspect your food if you chose to dine there!

I ordered the Philly Burger and was very disappointed. I ordered it medium and it came out fully cooked and dry. I told the manager and he told me something very interesting. He told me that with the "Jack" burgers even tho they cooked them how they're ordered, they just didn't get a pink center, something about the meat they... More

We honestly wanted to try something new- so we drove up and down the street by the mall until something jumped out at us. So glad Jack's did! The food was great from appetizer to finish. For an appetizer we got the ultimate nachos, and they were great. I got the chimichangas they were great. My Mammaw got the barbecue... More
