Great plate lunches and as good a steak at night as you will find anywhere. The ONE THING is I wish they had real lemons instead of lemon juice for the tea.

Locally owned restsurant conveniently located in downtown Jackdon. We ordered the 8 oz. Ribeye dinner with salad, baked potato and texas toast. Steak was perfectly prepared to our med.-rare request. The salad was ok...just contained mostly white lettuce. Also we ordered the grilled chicken breast greenbeans and salad. Again the salad was substandard. .but the chicken breast was grilled perfectly.... More

I've been eating at the Dixie Castle for years and years. The food is always delicious, just simple, basic fare, the service is friendly and timely, and the atmosphere is... well, another reviewer mentioned a liking for dives, and the DC is that, but in the good sense. I love the little, out of the way places like that; you... More

Today's special was hamburger steak..The food was simply below desirable. The meat came out more like oven-baked meatloaf

steaks are fair priced and great. We have ate at both Dixie Castle locations in Jackson and was not disappointed in either place. Both are Great food and fair prices.

I was in Jackson on business for several days and a few of us decided to give the Dixie Castle a try for dinner. It's located in downtown and there is nothing fancy about the place. But, boy do you get a bang for your buck. Rib-eye steak dinner for $16 and that is one of the most expensive things... More

Not much to look at from the outside - don't judge yet!! Delicous food with very fair pricing and good service. Opens at 5:00 PM, people waiting outside to get in. Limited menu but ask for fries or sandwiches. I didn't see them on the menu but saw them on plates.

Following a hotel recommendation and online comments we gave it a try and everything was excellent with fair pricing . Limited menu with steaks to chicken. Had the filet and it was outstanding . This cash only eatery is a simple no frills place and we will return

Visited here after a visit to Rustys car museum, four of us had great food and were made very welcome by the staff. They loved our Scottish accent and we loved theirs!
