Decided to go here for breakfast on July 5th. I didn't know the restaurant had changed to buffet only. Patrons must now pay before entering the restaurant. The buffet area is not nearly large enough to accommodate the number of people in their very large seating area. The buffet area was always packed with people and the area is just... More

Waited over half an hour to eat at the buffet while they seated 8 busloads of tourists who arrived after me and had reservations. You have to pay first, then wait in line. They don't take names so you can look around or sit down (if you get out of line, you lose your spot). After all that, the food... More

The premise behind this restaurant is sound, but the execution is horrid. On our recent road trip, we stopped in Jackson due to inclement weather. It was "raining elephants" as my daughter would say. The restaurant was so close to our hotel, we could have walked - if not for the rain. I love the story of Casey Jones and... More

Interesting stop. Good home-cooking Tennessee food. Worth the stop. Catch it on the right day and you hear banjos, harmonicas, guitars, and fiddles!

Went here (Saturday) to eat lunch and they were pretty busy. Several people were confused on which line to get in because now you pay before you eat and there were two lines. (One line is for the people to pay then you go over to the other line to wait to be seated). We had about a 20 minute... More

We tried this place based on the reviews. I am very confused by the high rating. The fresh fruit bar is all canned fruit. No excuse for this in the middle of June. To top it off, it still tasted old like it was from the night before. The eggs were watery like they were egg beaters or something similar.... More

Good selection on the buffet. It is part of the Casey Jones Village and there are plenty of tables. We were there at prime supper time.

If you like old Southern cooking this Buffet would be good for you. I think that the food is cooked with too much grease; and sometimes overcooked.very average.Would not take my family there.

Similiar to Cracker Barrel this place has a lunch buffett with sit down menu. I wish we had a choice, but we were on a tour and had to accept the buffett. It had lots of fried and typical southern food. The place was clean, the service friendly and casual and the seating was cramped. The rest rooms were old,... More

We found that for a buffet with nothing spectacular on it, this was way overpriced. And drinks were extra! We will probably never go back. We didn't feel like we got what we paid for at all. Very disappointed.
