My first time ever trying hot water cracklin bread and to my surprise, I loved it! I'm normally not a big bread eater, but I actually had 2-3 pieces of the cracklin bread! Sssshhh! Don't tell anyone! :) My family and I were satisfied with the other food selections as well. The food is served buffet style. My only complaint... More

According to their website, they are one of Tennessee's top 10 attractions and if you stop by you will see why. Great salad bar, soup bar, fresh fruit bar, lots of fresh vegetables, several meat choices, and even dessert included for one low price plus senior and military discounts. I'm not a big fan of buffet's but this one is... More

We stopped at the Casey Jones Museum, and went to the buffet for our lunch. The lines moved quickly and we got to try some southern items we had not eaten before, such as fried okra. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, the food was tasty, and price was reasonable.

The Old Country Store buffet has a large number of selections to choose from. They have a large salad and fruit bar that would make any dieter happy. They have many meats and vegetables to choose from as well as some of the best deserts in town. The atmosphere is pleasant and I always feel at home there.

This place makes Cracker Barrel look like McDonalds! Aside from a great country cooking buffet they also have an old time country store attached with a wide selection of items for purchase and classic memorabilia covering the store from top to bottom. Additionally they have an old fashioned ice cream parlor that will bring back lots of memories if you... More

We have eaten at The Old Country store for about 45 years. We started eating there when it was downtown & the buffet was on an old iron wood store. The new one was built in the early 70's. It has continued to improve it's selection every year. It is just like eating at your grandmothers except more choices. The... More

The food seems to be very salty and greasy. My stomach is always upset after I eat there. And the prices are too high. We went for lunch recently and for a table of 4 it costs us $48.00. The service that day was terrible. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated and then once we were at the... More
