My husband and I were up in Jackson, TN on a business trip and asked some people where there was some good food. They said if we wanted good ole Southern food to go to the Old Country Store. It was only a hop, skip and a jump so we went. When we arrived, we noticed huge amounts of cars... More

This is a perennial stop for us. Great place for vintage soda and candy. When it's not too crowded definitely browse. Get some country ham.

I ate here about 5:30 pm on Monday December 1, 2014. I ate in the Buffet room. It's prix fixe, $9.97 for a senior like me. This restaurant has a serious cleanliness problem. There was spilled and slopped food around the chafing dishes, and some of the sneeze guards were missing. The floor was filthy, with spilled food from people... More

My first time ever trying hot water cracklin bread and to my surprise, I loved it! I'm normally not a big bread eater, but I actually had 2-3 pieces of the cracklin bread! Sssshhh! Don't tell anyone! :) My family and I were satisfied with the other food selections as well. The food is served buffet style. My only complaint... More

According to their website, they are one of Tennessee's top 10 attractions and if you stop by you will see why. Great salad bar, soup bar, fresh fruit bar, lots of fresh vegetables, several meat choices, and even dessert included for one low price plus senior and military discounts. I'm not a big fan of buffet's but this one is... More

We stopped at the Casey Jones Museum, and went to the buffet for our lunch. The lines moved quickly and we got to try some southern items we had not eaten before, such as fried okra. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, the food was tasty, and price was reasonable.
