If it is home style breakfast and lunch you want, Ruby's is first choice of my husband. Since he wanted to go there today (breakfast all day Saturday) I thought I would review. The roast beef and gravy w/REAL mashed potatoes was great w/cabbage and corn - my 3; he had the fried fish, slaw, and raved about the hush... More

My friends seem to like this place but I never choose to go here when I think of great Southern food. I question how much is home made. I have had dessert served cold (chocolate pie needs to be served at room temp in my opinion) and it was just not good at all even imagining it warm. I don't... More

I have been going here for years. Ruby changed locations, but she did not change food quality. This restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch only. They serve the usual meat and three, along with sandwiches and nice pies and cobblers. The waitresses are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Lot of regular customers. Comfort food!

Classic meat-and-3, local restaurant. Great place to grab lunch on a budget. After ordering, your food comes out in about 30 seconds. Make sure not to eat late in the afternoon, as the food won't be any good.

Greasy, not clean...horrible atmosphere! Noisy and not a pleasant place to dine. Coffee was terrible!

Small family styled restaurant. Service is prompt and friendly. Food specials change daily and are very good. Breakfast and lunch daily.

One word......BLAND! Absolutely hands down the worst breakfast ever! I just ate at Ruby's 1 hour ago. I ordered 2 egs over easy with bacon, biscuts with gravy and hashbrowns well-done...simple enough. The egss looked almost poched, very runny and goopy and definately not over easy. I don't know how they cooked them, but I would not be surprised if... More

If you want an expensive breakfast, mediocre food and inattentive service then Ruby's is for you. I have eaten there three times for breakfast and I will not return. Pancakes were usually somewhat overcooked and thick and not fluffy. Biscuits and gravy appear to be prepackaged cooked biscuits that are warmed and the gravy is obviously a mix. Servers disappear... I have had better been there a couple times and will not go back. The food was not all that good and the bread was hard. So do yourself a favor and find some place else to go. At one time could not get anyone to check on us and that was not good. We needed more tea and coke... More
