had lunch there last week and ordered the meatloaf lunch special....made just like my 88 year old Mother makes! great food and greater service. this is a locally owned and operated eatery and i have never had a bad experience.

The Blackeye Pea has been around a while..when I went there several years ago..I was not dissatisfied but not great...since then I have gone back with some hesitation but I will say they have gotten better...food was very good and service was good...Try it again I think you will like it, good comfort food...

I do not know why the food is so bad at this particular Black Eyed Pea. The last time we were there, the cornbread dressing was profoundly inedible, horrible. When the waiter asked if the dressing was okay (because we weren't eating it), we told her it was not good. So, she offered to bring us some more. Huh? I... More

Went with family for semi fast food and found this to be an excellent choice. Have family who recently moved here and they will definitely go back and I'll be back again when visiting in Hendersonville again.Very reasonable prices and a huge all-american menu. From the steak to burger to fish that we had , everyone had nothing but good... More

We were passing near this area recently and decided to drive 5 miles out of our way to eat here. We found the restaurant quite busy on a Saturday evening, but were seated promptly and we had good service. The restaurant is clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and the food is good and the prices are very... More

cornbread and rolls to die for, menu is a cornucopia of all the good stuff my husbands mom made so when i say its as good as home made i mean it's done right. Everything i tasted left me grinning. If i didn't have to drive 1200 miles to get to one i'd be eating here all the time

Try the fried green tomato sandwich..the food is very good and the prices reasonable. If I lived here I would eat here often. I would have given it a five but the french fries are of the frozen variety .

Went to lunch with my husband Tony Vanoy and daughter Noelle Teel to Black-eyed Pea Restaurant. We had went to Hendersonville, TN to check out the Gravesite of Johnny Cash and June Carter, it was lunchtime, so we stopped here. We had never been here before. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor was lovely. The restaurant was so nice and... More

This is a nice family restaurant with a great choice of meals, from nice evening meals. Food prices are affordable, and they welcome children! Good plate lunches as well as sandwiches, steaks, fish, about anything you might wish to order. Nice inside with good staff. Sometimes they offer live music while you eat.
