We took a break for lunch and loved it. This is more a deli than a restaurant - stand in line and order. But the food is fabulous and well priced. You can adjust the amount of spice in each plate when you order which is a nice feature. Not sure if they serve in the evening but it is... More

one of my favorite places to eat. The food is made from scratch, very fresh and tasty. The red tea, cucumber water and regular teas are great. Humus platters are great. The dining room is small so if you go on a busy night call ahead. Was rated by the food channel and very worthy of the rating.

The food is very fresh and delish!! We requested hummus to go after we ate our meal and they told us that it would be about 10 minutes......they were making it fresh. You can't say that about many restaurants. The next time we are in this area we will go back to Café Rakka.

To me the food at this place is just ok and fresh. But, it is not my kind of food so I probably won’t go back. My wife was ok with the food and rated it 4 stars. We were with friends that eat here often and they like the fare a lot. We arrived early and had no problem... More

Awesome restaurant/cafe. Perfect for a real experience. Saw this place on Food Channel - it is the real deal! Their website has info and it is close enough to Nashville to plan a visit, if you can. Maybe 20 seats(?), some outside. Take out available. Closed on Sunday and close mid afternoon - (3-5), so plan it right. A basic... More

Great Food, large portions. Pricey but totally worth it. Small and hard to get a table on the weekend. But worth the wait.

this is a hidden jewel, my husband is a fan of this food and me not so much. When I tasted the fresh salad and marinated chicken I was sold. Our children also loved the chicken and salad and pita bread is so fresh with the hummus as a dip- you cannot go wrong.

We saw Cafe Rakka on Dinners, Drive ins and dives. We went on a sat at 3:30 and they were closed for a few hours so we came back at 5:00pm when they reopened and there was a line already. the place only holds about 12 tables so get there early otherwise you will be waiting for a table. the... More

Walking into the restaurant make your way to the front counter and get on the waiting list. They will ask for your cell number. You can wait in your car to be called. When called, go back to the counter and order from the menu. After this they will show you to an empty table and they will give you... More

Loved it, plus I had a nice chat with the owner/chef. As authentic as you can get .A very small place and very popular, so you may want to plan a visit at a not so busy time.
