The food was fine. Serveral people got the pork chops and really liked them. Good environment for a business lunch. Friendly staff but the wait to be served (seated quickly) was far longer than expected. If having another lunch meeting in Germantown, I would consider this again if I didnt do an upscale chain steak house instead.

Our family gather up at Mister B's for another family dinner. The crowd had several items off the menu and all were very good. The red beans and rice are a traditional go-to-dish for some of us.

I have enjoyed many a fine meal at Mister B's, but my most recent visit topped them all! A shared 32 oz strip steak with my oldest son confirmed for me that Mr. B's is a lot more than fried seafood and po' boys. Tender, cooked to perfection, and served piping hot - this was some fine cow! Throw in... More

A co-worker of my wife suggested a trip here for a special dinner. The portions are huge and very high quality. If steak is not your thing, try the pork chop or the shrimp. Thickest pork chop this side of a butcher.

This place is tucked on the backside of a shopping plaza on Poplar. We've been to this plaza many times before, but would never have guess this place was there. You have to drive around to the back corner. When you step inside, it looks like this place has been here for years. It's not what you'd expect inside this... More

Went here With friends. The food was less then edible the Porkchop was so dry had to ask for extra gravy twice. The service was so slow it took 10 minutes from the time we ordered Itto the time we got it. We got our appetizers with our meal the price was overpriced for the amount of food one received.... I was slightly pissed because there wasn't a hostess and we had called ahead but still stood in the tiny waiting area for about 10 min (I was hungry!). I ordered a steak but I was a tad upset that you have to pay extra for a salad (and it was a very average salad). And then I was really... More

Good place to dine for lunch or dinner in East Memphis, especially for locals. Have used for business lunches with attorney and with financial advisor. Also good for small group dinners. Known for its Cajun fare, but steaks are also good. Older clientele.

We visited Mr. B's on a week night during July. We didn't have to wait for a table so we were seated quickly. We had the hushpuppies for an appetizer- they were good but small. We also had gumbo which was very delicious! For our entrees we had the shrimp and catfish po boys. These were very tasty. We had... More

The best steak in Memphis. Out for a nice Friday night dinner with friends, we stopped by Mister B's. We tried the catfish, gumbo, scollop's, onion rings and steak. The steak won hands down. Price of dinner and drinks for 2 can easily reach $100 (including tax and tip). With careful selection it could be less. There is a full... More
