I took the boys out for dinner yesterday evening here and they enjoyed it. One is 13 and the other just turned 10. The youngest ordered the wings without the sauce, as he normally does, but did not like the "naked" wings as they were smoked. I wished the waitress had told us that. The older grandson ordered the shrimp... More

Went for supper and was not disappointed. The catfish was perfect. Not fishy at all. I ordered macaroni n cheese and collards for my sides. The macaroni and cheese I believe is the best I have ever had at a restaurant. If you want great fish and great sides go to the soul fish cafe.

Oh. My. Word. My cousin lives in Collierville and took me to Soul Fish for the first time. We had Cat Bites, shared a Catfish Basket and ordered sides of collard greens, sweet potato fries, fried okra...plus had the fries, hush puppies and slaw! I grew up in Memphis and Somerville eating this kind of food and I really miss... More

I am constantly on the Atkins diet but I do cheat every once in awhile. When I know I am about to cheat, I start thinking on what I really, really want to cheat with. Most of the time, I end up go to Soul Fish for the Catfish basket. I LOVE the french fries also. I mostly do take... More

Had lunch today at Soul Fish. Good, light tasty catfish with Tatar. My sides were Cajun cabbage & sweet potato fries. The cabbage was 'kicked' up just enough to be very different and had some spicy sausage in it. The fries were delicious. Corn bread was also light & fluffy. The menu is extensive and can all be done 'to... More

My favorite entry is Catfish filet seasoned and blackened with fried sweet potato fries. This is my second lunch time visit to the Germantown location. The service and the food were good, both times I visited for lunch. My colleagues had Blackened Tilapia and Blackened Salmon with vegetables, they both liked their selections, we will be back.

Had dinner here for the second time in the past couple of months. Each time the food has been excellent! We really feel like it is pretty close to homemade (at least for a small chain restaurant). Service has been pretty good. But for some reason, drinks always seem to come out very slowly. Like you are almost done eating... More

Catfish is good but no customer service. Ask to be seated at an EMPTY booth because my wife prefers a booth.......young hostess very sternly said "NO" and directed us toward a table...we asked again and she said "You have to sit where I show you"...WE left and have never and will not return although we live within a mile of... I love both of them here, so it's always hard to choose. Their vegies are great as well. Again, hard to choose, but try the coleslaw and their green beans. Both are great. Fried dill pickles are great to start with also. I really like the midtown location the best but enjoy the others as well. Deserts are large enough... More

We shared a post Liberty Bowl dinner at the Soul Fish café and were very pleased. The ambience is what you'd expect in a suburban location, but the blackened catfish and Cajun cabbage I had was outstanding - nice portion size, exceptionally tender and flavorful. Decent if small craft beer and wine selection as well. Companion had a rib eye... More
