Probably for a reason. Service was OK. Breakfast buffet looked OK. Why are salad makings already out? Sausage links and grits were needing improvement. Biscuit and gravy was fine.

This Shoney's was a short walk from my hotel- very convenient! I got the buffet and although I'm not a fan of some southern cooking, I found plenty to satisfy me. The pork chops were especially good and I always think they have good soup- and this was true here. Very reasonably priced and good quality! I would have liked... More

Shoney's is one of our favorite stops when traveling through Tennessee but this one was definitely not a favorite. When we arrived, one of the workers/managers "hollered" back through waiter/waitress area to ask if someone could help seat people; well, evidently whomever he was talking to misunderstood and gave a reply but the worker/manager immediately(in a harsh tone) stated "that's... The salad dressing was way too greasy with little bluer cheese. The chicken was typical greasy and over dipped. But, it was close on a rainy night.

We ate here after arriving to the Nashville area late. I was surprised to see how clean the place was after a full day of business. Service was excellent with that Southern charm you expect for the area. We stayed away from the buffet, but all the menu items we ordered were excellent. Our meal was correct and it arrived... More

Seafood was cold and a food poisoning potential! They charge 12 bucks for the buffet and can't maintain the food temptature. At this price you are better off traveling a mile down the road and going to a better place like red lobster for the same price! A child 10 is charged the same price as an adult even if... More

Went for the breakfast buffet - including coffee it was just over $10. Hard to complain about that... Eggs cooked to order but unfortunately my poached eggs had been murdered - solid. The buffet selection was all you might want inc fruit but most of it over cooked too. I guess you get what you pay for.
