Description: Welcome to Puckett’s! Founded in the fifties, people have been congregating at Puckett’s for over a half a century. We’ve updated a bit, added some recipes from our family and friends, and thrown in some great live music. But it’s still Puckett’s Grocery... nothing too fancy, but everything good. It’s where the locals go for real food, real people and real fun.Consider Puckett’s for private party rentals and catering needs.

Two friends and I popped in for lunch. Jeffrey was ready for us. He took the time to give our "newbie" visitor the run-down on Puckett's culinary delights and awards. His charm and knowledge of the menu made the experience even better. I had the Fried Green Tomato BLT with spicy ranch sauce. It was delicious! The sauce is a... More

I have lived in Franklin for 10 years, and I am shocked that Puckett's is rated #1 on tripadvisor. Makes me wonder.....The food is just adequate and the service is terrible. We have so many much better than this.

While visiting the quaint town of Franklin, TN we ate at this famous stop....according to our local contacts. Famous for their great country food and atmosphere -Pucketts did not dissapoint. The food was so tastefully prepared and the service was fantastic. We arrived around 6pm on a Friday and got a seat right away. However, if you arrive later you... More

Food was very good and was able to fit large family gathering. Enjoyed the live music and unique atmosphere. Easy to manage young children and did a great job with service on a very busy holiday weekend.

Came at 1:50 for lunch that is advertised on menu served until 3pm. Was told they were out of the $9.99 fried chicken lunch platter except for dark meat, no white meat left and offered the fried chicken "southern" platter which was $12.99 that did have white meat. I was confused. They offered no explanation. I ask if the chicken... More

Great atmosphere with a nice variety of reasonable priced food. Not as "Southern" type food as I had thought, but coming from the South I had different expectations. The staff was very nice and helpful. Really would suggest reservations. The food was good and I do want to make it clear, but nothing special. We love fried green tomatoes and... More

Great service, great food, fun atmosphere, reasonable prices. Can't get better than that. The menu had lots of options and they have a daily special. Some evenings (maybe all?) they have someone on stage starting about 7:00. This is a local favorite. There are lots of families and locals "meeting up." So much more fun to eat someplace unique like... More

Went to Puckett's primarily to see the band, The Willies. They were great. And what a great place to see music and eat. Very broad menu from steak to barbecue to chicken fried steak. Don't miss the fried green beans and fried green tomatoes appetizers. Very good food, great band, great time.

Total lack of management. Would not advise eating at this establishment. The Matredee tells you 25 minutes, then 60 minutes later, his response will be, "Uhh..." This was the second worst service ever imposed upon this trip-advisor reviewer. Please. Go to the nearest Cracker Barrel. And don't look back. Good luck to you if you go to Pucket's. You've been... This is a restaurant in an old piggly wiggly grocery store with cement floors and wooden shelves and pictures and tin signs all over the wall. We ate on an old retro table that may have been in someone's wash room. Love it. I had the bourbon glazed chicken , turnip greens(best I've ever had. Seasoned JUST right), sweet potatoes... More
