Nostalgia

For those of us who remember & enjoyed the Steak & Ale of Cork & Cleaver dining experience then Sperry's is for you. The ambience, menu and chilled plate salad bar are now cool retro. The food was very good, the service was good but the server did not know the wine list.

The food was good, the service was excellent and overall we had a lovely date night. We did think that that food was a bit pricey for what was served and somewhat over salted. The salad bar is one of the freshest I've seen in a long time. Steak was excellent.

Six of us ventured to Sperry's for a business dinner. This was my first opportunity to dine here. They are conveniently located in a shopping area just off Cool Springs Boulevard - so plenty of free parking. Upon entry the first impression is awesome - dark, rich and luxurious. Onward to the dining area and the outlook continued to be... More

We had a wonderful waiter named Joel who really took care of us. He suggested the preparation for the lamb that my friend had and she was very pleased. The 3 of us had beef which was tender and delicious. We finished off the meal sharing dessert but the best part was the french press coffee from Costa Rico which... More

Since I moved to TN over 15 years ago, people have been telling me about Sperry's. It is so great! Great atmosphere, food, service etc. I finally visited there on Monday night with three others to celebrate a friend's stay. We were immediately told we had missed happy hour at the bar but we had at least 40 minutes left;... More

I repeatedly visit this restaurant because of their weekday happy hour specials. They have great drink specials and also have a special food menu for happy hour (called "Burton's Bites"). The setting is classy and comfortable- if you've been to the original Belle Meade location, the lounge area and bar here are almost an exact replica. I've typically had my... More

I was really looking forward to more than what we got--which was two poorly cooked steaks and incredibly slow service. Probably won't be back and wouldn't recommend it.

Very nice dinner with friends. Our driver called ahead, only a 10 minute wait. The steak frites were fabulous! We also ordered the scallop appetizer. Shrimp cocktail is a huge serving! Our waitress was vey attentive.

been here several times for special occasions with great outcomes, but disappointed this thanksgiving. the food was good but service mediocre. salad bar depleted, with missing utensils, and we had early reservation. server was emotionless and seem bothered by requests. this won't stop us from coming back, but may be a 2nd or 3rd choice next time.

This is the place you go to impress a client with awesome food. The atmosphere is that of a traditional steak house with lots of beautiful wood decor. But then you taste the food and that seals the deal every time. A bit pricey but when you go there you never have to worry if the food will be good.... More
