Sometimes, you just got that lucky. We dined at the bar at 8:30 on a Friday (all the tables were booked for the night). Bar mgr Stephano was immediately on-point with his drink recommendation. We enjoyed the Elks in a Blanket for app, and the blue crab bisque with the house breads. Seriously, that bisque is a food group, and... More

Our second trip to the Red Pony and it is still the best in town. Great menu, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. Trust the wait staff and follow their suggestions, wine list is excellent, the bar is a great place to wait. Definitely try to sit upstairs it is much more quiet and conducive to dinner conversation.

Fantastically fun and delish restaurant in quaint downtown with a variety of great shopping. 10/10... Perfect. And having to sit at the communal table because of the wait was a win for our group. Enjoy!

The Red Pony is likely the best restaurant in Franklin, TN. The food is carefully prepared with many locally sourced ingredients. Downstairs is lively (some would say downright noisy, though), and the upstairs dining room is more conducive to quiet conversation. The bar scene is crowded, but fun. Beware-service can be spotty.

I visited my son and daughter in law in Nolensville and for dinner she suggested the Red Pony. They had never been there either and oh what pleasure this was. Way too many restaurants nowadays have food that is OK but nothing to write home about. Well, I am writing home about this one. It is small and has a... More

The food is good, but very rich! Drinks are also good. The atmosphere can be loud and it is very dark. Service is good.

My husband and I recently dined at the Red Pony for our anniversary dinner. It was one of the most pleasurable dining experiences we have ever had! The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu, made suggestions and explained how it's made. He was very enthusiastic about each item and with good reason...Everything was unique and delicious.

My wife and I went to the Red Pony to celebrate our anniversary. We sat upstairs in the bar area off the main dining room. It was actually a nice place to sit as it seemed much more quiet and intimate than the main dining room. We started off with some great cocktails - that you could actually taste the... More

The food was okay. Nothing special. I had the filet and it was good but I would have loved a baked potato. They don't have them. You have to get the cheesy mashed potatoes which I found to be gloppy and gluey. My husband got some pork chops and they were a bit on the tough side. The guacamole was... More

The menu was very eclectic making this a good choice for many different tastes. The appetizers varied from lamb chops to pizza, which I thought was a bit unusual, but touched upon about every category one could want and staying true to their philosophy. We had a table right by the window looking into the kitchen so it felt like... More
