Good food but not the best choice for lunch

This could be a great spot at night but we went for an early lunch, were the first in the door and it took us a long time to get our food. That said the food was quite good, shepherd's pie, and burgers were great. The place is in a lower level so it also was dark for a daytime... read more

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere and décor were inviting. The waitress was warm and friendly. The appetizers were excellent. However, the entrée (beer battered fish) was sorely disappointing. It tasted...just a bit "off", and the next day an upset stomach confirmed my reservations. If you're looking for a nice, laid-back place to have a few drinks... More

We stopped for drinks and enjoyed a local musician who played guitar. The atmosphere was great! The service was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Very good burgers. It's a bar, but at lunch time it was fine for a family. I would eat their again if we were in Franklin.

This was an all-around positive experience. At first I wondered what we were walking into, but service was friendly, the food was phenomenal, and the prices are good. The Monte Cristo was fabulous!

The lower level was closed for a private party so my review is based on the main level. There was a musty smell in the restaurant. The food was ordinary to be generous. Service was slow. A positive would be that the restaurant has great parking which is becoming difficult to find in Franklin.

With the pool tables and Cleveland Brown fans galore, this looks more like a bar (or pub) as they called it, than it did a restaurant. No matter, the food was very good and they even had a gluten free bun for my burger. The food did take about 20 minutes but they also warn you that everything is made... More

After a long day and a lot of walking, I chose to wait in the pub while the others went for the car. Felt a bit uncomfortable at first as the only woman there and everyone else was local, but was soon made to feel comfortable and when joined by the others, we decided to stay and have some food... The food was not up to par. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for good american food. Pub atmosphere. We have gone for birthdays and anniversarys.
