Went prior to an event in downtown Franklin. Although there was only one other table filled our food took so long that we left without eating. The servers and cooks seemed very young and with no adult supervision on site. Would not go back.

I live in Franklin and we eat at Franklin Mercantile at least once per month. The food is always good and the atmosphere is quaint.

I was looking for a great lunch spot and found one in downtown Franklin. You are welcomed with southern charm and because of the cozy décor it feels like home. Great variety of lunch items: salads, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and soups. Love Mable's pecan chicken salad because it had plenty of chicken and pecans, but wasn't drowning in mayonnaise. The... Great place to relax and eat, loved the sandwich and will go back when in the area. We were visiting our daughter in TN and found this deli on side street from downtown. Fun place.

We just wanted a snack and was able to get a scoop of chicken salad with some crackers and two big glasses of water for 6 bucks. Just enough to take the edge off so we could continue doing our do's. The food looked good. They had soup and sandwiches and salads. Looked like a popular place.

The Merc offers many sandwich, panini, and salad choices for lunch. Family favorites are the "Annabelle" and the "Coriander" while my pick is the BLT. Sandwiches are filled with generous amounts of their respective ingredients...you won't walk away hungry! The counter order deli has an eclectic mix of furnishings with a shabby chic feel. Very casual atmosphere!

I'm a sweet tea fanatic even though I once again live in my home state of CO (used to live in NM with a lot of Texans). This place had the best sweet tea I've had in my week long visit in Tennessee. I'm also very picky about my potato salad and had a sample before ordering it as a... More

Haven't frequented Franklin Mercantile very often but after today will make a point of doing so! I had a classic blt which was very good. Several others got the salad sampler ( chicken, tuna, pimento) which I will probably get next time. The 4th Ave deli sandwich looked good as well. Paired with fruit tea. I will definitely go back... I met a group here recently for breakfast, A neat smaller cafe place off the square with a few tables out on the sidewalk, I ordered an omelet from the menu board at the counter, for $6.95 you got a choice of 3 from few items on the board, One of the items was swiss cheese, One would assume some...
