They have a ton of options for sandwiches, wraps, salads and soups. The chicken salad is my favorite. They make everything in house and have a pimento cheese sandwich that's actually good. I've never like pimento cheese!

Liked it so much that we had breakfast 2 mornings in a row AFTER attending a rehearsal dinner there! Everything is made to order with 3 kinds of fresh coffee, delicious sides to accompany wonderful morning offerings southern style. Sat outside with the locals (always a good sign) and enjoyed the scene. Also great lunch and dinner offerings. Would definitely... More

Enjoyed breakfast at the Mercantile! Eggs, bacon, pancakes all fresh and delicious. Local businessmen were enjoying the same -- always a good sign! There's also an outside dining area.

We love to stop in this charming cafe for a cup of soup and a sandwich. Very vintage atmosphere... Try the tomato soup, it's delicious!!

We were in the area touring the civil war sites. We wanted a good quick lunch and asked a few locals. This is where they sent us. We all got sandwiches and you get your choice of side. Fruit, chips or potato salad. Cost around $8 a sandwhich. All were made to order all were fresh and tasty. The service... More

We had a fine lunch here, on a busy Saturday. Wound up here because Merridee's was packed. Nice assortment of fresh sandwiches and wraps, good food service. The tomato basil soup was great. The atmosphere is crowded, and a bit hectic, but, it's a breakfast/lunch place! The food is reasonably priced, and you won't be disappointed.

Starting with the food; Had a good mix of sandwiches and great soup. Nice atmosphere with some outside/street side tables. Forgot purse on outside chair. Purse could have been easily stolen being left outside but quick service by staff (cleaning table, finding purse, and placing it behind the counter) lead to us picking it up first thing the next morning.... We love this place! Downtown Franklin atmosphere without the hefty price tag. We always receive friendly and dependable service - Chris is the best! AMAZING dinner-for-two specials that include a bottle of wine - my favorite is the portobello mushroom. The portions are just right - tapas-style, so you won't need to tote a to-go box when you leave. Charming... More

This place was recommended by a friend over Meridee's for the pimento cheese sandwich . It was good but I was expecting great and it just wasn't great. I'm from New Orleans so sometimes food just tastes bland and that's what it was- bland. Teeny tiny salad bar and not many salads to choose from - my daughter had the... More

Love Franklin for the old time charm but sometimes the charm is the best (or only) feature. Our party of 3 was seated immediately on a Friday night at 6 before Les Mis tix at Boiler Room. I ordered chicken quesadillas because they had guacamole and salsa on it. Good thing I like salsa/guac because the chicken was SO rubbery,... More
