Description: Stoney River is a place for legendary steaks, traditional favorites and creative flavors - in a classic lodge atmosphere, casual with contemporary style and flair, plus a staff this is friendly and engaging. At Stoney River, we take the food very seriously - but not ourselves. We think the best meals are relaxed meals where everyone gets exactly what they want. Even if that’s white wine with steak.

I admit it, I'm a carnivore! And this place was heavenly! The prime rib was the absolute best I've had any where. Flavorful and lean but enough fat to add flavor. Cooked exactly as i ordered as was all the steaks at the table. The Blue Cheese Chips are a must as an appetizer. Service was top notch. Attentive but... More

This was our second meal at this restaurant and our first visit was awesome. This visit not so awesome. The food wasn't as good the second time. My husband's New York strip was overly seasoned which disguised the taste and my prime rib was tender, but it too was spicy and the taste of the beef was covered up. It... More

I used to love Stoney River, and we always used it for our special occasions. But since they were bought out, the food is average at best. We tried yet again last week, and that was the final straw. The fried bread was soaked in oil and barely lukewarm. The french fries were also lukewarm. Not one of the three... More

People can brag all they want about, Ruth's Chris, Sperry's or Morton's (and no offense, all great establishments), but you just can't beat Stoney River. From the quality of service to the sweet cinnamon honey buttered rolls..from start to finish it is a dining experience. The atmosphere does give you the high dining experience as well as knowledgeable staff about... More

We went for a birthday celebration and were very impressed with the food and service. The blue cheese chips appetizer was amazing. Also, all of our steaks were done just the way we ordered them and tastes great. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere and service at the restaurant is excellent, but the flavor was a bit lacking. My wife ordered the prime rib, and she had to add a bit of salt and pepper as the flavor was somewhat flat. I ordered the ribeye, and it was good, but a bit dry. It was not worth the cost of the meal.

I had eaten here once before while visiting the area which is why we returned. Great food and excellent atmosphere and service. A little pricey but definitely worth treating ourselves to a special dinner out. Would definitely go back if in the area in the future.

We went here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband and a guest got the coffee rubbed filet and they loved it. I got a different steak, the strip steak which didn't have that rub on it. It was good but certainly not the best steak I've ever had. But, the au gratin potatoes were to die... More

This is a great, white tablecloth style restaurant. The food is very good, the steak one of the best we've had. Service was just a little slow (the restaurant was not busy). As with most restaurants in the Cool Springs area, you can dress casually to eat here even though it's a very nice restaurant.

My son and I had dinner here and, once again, Stoney River gave us a great meal. From the greeting when we walked in the door to the farewell as we were leaving, everything was superb. Our servers were attentive, yet gave us a chance to enjoy this special night out. My son's favorite is the sirloin strip, it was... More
