We stopped by for Happy Hour and left to walk around. Noticed the customers were being served quickly and no wait line. We came back to eat later and had little wait time and they accommodated us and wiped down a table. The server remembered us from earlier and the staff is all friendly. Our meal did not take long... Tiny place with delicious food and good beer. Live Irish music crammed into the front window some nights. Decor not thrilling, but food and friendly service make up for it.

We had a late lunch at McCreary's and were very grateful that they could accommodate my wife's low sodium restricted diet and did so very graciously and enthusiastically. The food was very good;the service was great!

I've been going to McCreary's for many years. It's consistently good, with good service. The 2 for 1 drink specials from 3-6 are definitely the way to go! Fish and Chips are some of the best around

Went for dinner and the quality of food was poor. My husband had the Shepherd Pie and the portion was way too small. I had the sausage and all you could taste was salt. The Irish Soda Bread tasted like it was at least a week old. Might be a great place for drinks though.

Whenever my son and I visit Franklin especially on a Saturday we eat at McCreary's Irish Pub & Eatery. He and I both order the bread pudding French toast which is to die for. This is so good especially with the berries and syrup on top. We will return many times for this and hope to move to Franklin in... More

McCreary's is a frequent stop for us. Can't go wrong with their menu. Their wings are probably my favorite of any wing joint I have been to and their fish and chips is great too.

Kick-butt Fish & Chips and 2-4-1 Happy Hour! This little treasure on Franklin’s Main Street cannot be beat. The food, service and atmosphere are perfect. Dress down, relax and have a couple beers. If you are looking for an 1880’s Irish tavern with No sports, No TV’s and No loud music, this is the place. It was absolutely refreshing eating... More

My wife and I had lunch a couple of weeks ago at McCreary's. I wanted Shepard's Pie and she had corned beef and cabbage. It doesn't get more Irish than that. Both were very good. Service is also good as the food and" Franklin Friendly". Old building with historic flavor adds to the experience.

The locations is small, but quaint in the Franklin historic district. We were there early for supper and had about a 20 minute wait. My husband and I both had the fish & chips, and it was delicious. My daughter had the chicken pot pie. It came in a cute little ceramic pot. She loved it! Our waitress was attentive,... More
