We just moved to Mt Juliet a few months ago. Stumbled on McCreary's soon there after and go monthly, more if we are going to the theater! Atmosphere is great, service is superb and the food is scrumptious! My kids are teenagers but absolutely love it! I enjoy a few pints when I can...

Last minute trip on NYE so all places booked for events. Very pleasantly surprised. Fried shrimp was outstanding. Beer cheese soup was excellent. Paul was server and did great job with everything. Small place but has a great feel!!! If in town give this place a try.

Recently we stopped in to McCreary's for a snack and were pleasantly surprised by the food, service & atmosphere of this little pub. Enjoyed the corned beef & cabbage eggrolls & a pint or two. We'll definitely be back for an actual meal soon.

The soup on the specials board sounded good. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The bartender suggested the bangers and mash so I ordered that and the guineas beef stew. Both were OK. I liked the chocolate peanut butter porter was better than the food by a bit. We probably won't return.

Over the holidays we had family in town and wanted to explore downtown Franklin. It was about 2PM and we wanted a late lunch so we picked McCreary's. When we first tried to get in the place was packed so we walked down the street and our second choice was also full. When we came back a few minutes later... More

Great spot ,Great Staff, Historic location. Nice change from chains, love craft beers and always check it out on way back from airport with my daughter from the Rock Harbour Pub and Brewery in Maine. She tries the brew I love the tasty corned beef sandwiches. Fun feeling of Eire.

My husband and I look forward to visiting McCreary's every time we're in Franklin. He loves it for the beer selection and almost authentic Irish food. I love it for the atmosphere and any of the food. Some of our favorites: Corned beef and cabbage, Shepherd's pie, Limerick Hot Potato, and Fish & Chips. The chefs here take original Irish... More

This little Irish Pub nestled in the quaint little downtown of Franklin, TN deliveres on its name. A lengthy beer list to the Irish favors from corned beef and cabbage to some if the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Only 30 min from Nashville, a unique and special getAway.

We are fans of Irish pubs so decided to try McCreary's. It is a very small pub. The Irish part of the atmosphere is mostly done with posters on the walls. The menu has several Irish dishes. We had the bangers and mash and shepherd's pie. Both had additions to the traditional recipes. While they were good, I'd really rather... More

So glad you enjoyed your meal and we invite you to come back and try some of our more traditional recipes that don't have an American twist like our Dublin Pot Pie and Corned Beef and Cabbage. Also for breakfast our Ulster Fry is served with a more traditional banger that you may prefer and is served with both white... More

This is a very friendly place to drop in. I may be biased because I love Irish bars, but this one is my favorite in Franklin. The beer selection is great and the appetizers are good as well. The menu is great too. There is quite a selection for such a small place. I think the atmosphere is perfect. The... More
