Just okay

I was excited to try saffire since I had heard so much good about it. Maybe it was just an "off" Night because I thought the good Was just "so so" and not worth the price we paid. My first visit to this restaurant based on the reviews did not live up to the ratings. We had the Kale Salad and Filet. The salad was bland at best and the Filet's were less than average. For a meal that was $150.00 plus, I would expect to have on the same level as a Flemmings, Morton's or Kayne Prime.... More

We were visiting Franklin to see antiques etc adter Christmas, and Saffire was not open on Monday so we went Tuesday lunchtime. I had a wonderful soup and something unexpected - savory grits, wonderfully buttery. Our friend had beer, a nice list of choices. Server was friendly, quick and knowledgeable. Interesting menu, not expensive. Ambience interesting, industrial chic withe huge... More

Love the atmosphere/decor, but the food is why I come! Delicious food, and fun drinks at the bar from a great bartender-ess. Have come for last 2 years and have never been disappointed with fried chicken or pork chop.

It can be a little noisy here, had to move away from the music so we could talk, but overall a good experience . The fried oysters and steak and biscuits were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The desert was a chocolate pie with whipped cream and a strawberry. Enjoy the diverse menu and try something unusual here.

Visited Saffire for holdiay dinner with family while in Franklin for Christmas. They did a great job of accommodating our party of 10 with excellent service. Food was wonderful and well prepared. A true Franklin gem.

My family ate at Saffire on my daughter's recommendation. Several of us had the chicken fried chicken which was wonderful! The pimento cheese burger was also declared very good. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and reservations are recommended. I would definitely eat there again!

Called to make reservations 3 weeks in advance and they were very friendly and organized. The best prime rib ever tasted! Hear to celebrate special event. Was leary of comments about being too noisy. Had reservations for 5pm....perfect on a thursday. Got very crowded by 6pm. But it was noisy fun! The energy was great and the manager visited our... More

My first visit to Saffire (Saturday night dinner) was a really good one. The second (Sunday brunch) was as good - both with the same excellent server (Rachel).

This is still one of my top five Franklin restaurants (Saffire, Red Pony, Stoney River, J. Alexander, Bonefish Grill, and an honorable mention to Cork & Cow), and has been for 15 years. The New South Caesar is my favorite recommendation. You can't go wrong here. I also like this as a lunch choice because it tends to be less... More
