My wife and I ate here last Saturday and everything was flawless. The compimentary biscuits were tasty and we went with the half dozen oysters that were fried in cornmeal. Unbelievable! Main course was a rib eye, potatos and asparaghus with a side of white cheddar macaroni. Our cucumber martini was amazing. This was our second time here and we... More

We stumbled on this place in the middle of the Factory Shops while attending a guitar show. Once we looked at the menu, we decided that we just had to go in for lunch. Glad we did. There's a lot of interesting seafood, and if you like oysters, you'll be in heaven, for they have a number of varieties available.... More

Saffire is a little gem. The upscale southern menu is delicious and the service has usually been great. They have a wonderful wine list. All the meals I have had have been great. This was the first place I ever tried shrimp and grits and has been notable to me ever since. I judge all other shrimp and grits by... More

The waiter and the pie were terrific. We had chicken fried chicken for the main course. Gravy was heavy. Greens were strangely spiced. I am thinking the chefs in Franklin are trying hard, but they are missing something. The Sangria was watery. The waiter was so nice I wish I had something better to say about the food.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when antiquing at The Factory. It had a relaxed, attractive setting. We both enjoyed our meal--my husband had Chicken-fried chicken and I had shrimp and grits that were delicious. Would highly recommend!

We arrived before 6, so we could only order appetizers. The Caesar salad was one of the best I have ever had. We also tried the Buffalo chicken on a biscuit, gumbo, and bam bam shrimp - it was all wonderful. Look forward to returning and trying out the full menu.

I had the halibut with grits special ($36). The fish could not have been cooked better. Served on a bed of very slightly cheesed grits and turnip greens with a hint if apple cider vinegar.
