We just finished dinner here. As it was a Sunday evening we were able to get a table without an reservation. We had the Caesar salad, fried avocado appetizer, filet, fish tacos, buttermilk pie and key lime pie. Everything was good. Filet cooked perfectly and very tender. Portions were large and we left with several doggy bags. Service was excellent. Our... More

One of the best restaurants in Franklin. Great atmosphere, great drink menu, and great food. I often take visitors here for a unique experience.

Visited friends who live in Franklin and we ate at the Saffire which is located, along with other retailers, in an old factory so very ecclectic. We were there on Sunday evening and coming from the northeast, where restaurants like this one would be very busy, this one was not..that was a surprise. The food was very good and the... More

We attended a rehearsal dinner last Friday evening and the meal was great. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The bar staff learned our name on the first drink order and was Johnny on the spot for each one. A little difficult to find, but well worth it.

Having been quite awhile since last eating here, brunch today was like experiencing a new restaurant. When I went on-line earlier in the day, I was intrigued by the menu. I was less intrigued by the experience. First, the good. Our waiter was top-notch and service overall was very good. It wasn't busy, so that may have had something to... More

Love the location in The Factory in Franklin, an old mattress factory with surprisingly vibrant and longstanding retail. The inside of the restaurant is anything but vibrant. The odd assortment of vintage (read "tired") chairs and tables are in sore shape -- a chair missing back slat, sticky floor, sticky table finish and the upholstered seats on some chairs simply... Let me start by saying everyone was very nice and pleasant to be around. That said the noise was overwhelming. Everything was echoing, from the dishes to the people talking. The piano was trying to be heard over the noise and it was just adding to it instead. The food was adequate not great. Defiantly not worth the $60 dollars... More

My coworkers/friends and I ate here Wednesday evening. I had the famous chicken-fried chicken, which comes with a penne mac-n-cheese and a country ham gravy. I got the gravy on the side, thinking the "country ham" might mean the gravy was really salty - but it was not at all, it was delicious. The whole thing was really, really good.... More

I hosted 11 clients at Saffire for dinner and cocktails. Initially I was skeptical because we only had 1 wait staff. She was outstanding! For appetizers we ordered the oysters on the half shell, bang shrimp and the bbq leaf. Each of the appetizers were fabulous. The oysters were fresh and chilled. The bang shrimp was served very warm, not... More
