After having eaten at the Thompson location we made the assumption that the food quality would be the same. What a mistake thus was. The waitress was of the menu, asked about the chicken tortilla soup and not only she did not know if it was cream or tomato but did not offer to ask about it. I ordered the... More

We went with about eight of us and we all genuinely enjoyed it. THe rotissiere chicken was delicious, the mashed sweet potatoes were great and the salads were excellent. The service is a little bit to be desired but adequate. Will definitely go again... Great for vegans, vegetarians or people with Gluten allergies..

We love this place! The staff are always friendly and efficient. It's off-beat, casual caribbean flair appeals to the entire family. If you are looking for the traditional meat and potato or pizza, this isn't for you, but if you like to venture out of the norm and enjoy something made fresh with a twist this is a great casual... Although not strictly authentic Carribbean, the food is tasty. The salads are generously sized and taste really fresh. The chicken is rotisserie & really moist. Served with any of the sauces it is really good. The Black Bean Salad, Lucayan Salad, and Quarter White with St. Lucian Rice & Boija Muffins are favorites. Great place to meet a friend for... More

Slow service and food was cold when it finally arrived. Not much to say it was below average for me.

This place is surrounded by all the normal food chains. But I like Caribbean food, so I tried this place out. The staf is friendly when you come in, and I sat outside as it was a really pleasant evening. Red Strip was the only Caribbean beer they had, but it was ice cold, and complete with a frosty glass.... I love Caribbean food. Love, Love, Love. But unfortunately what they sale at Calypso is rotisserie chicken that you could get at Walmart with different sauces. I tried the Caribbean Curry glaze, it was basically super sweet syrup with a little curry powder. YUCK! The rice and callaloo are bland. The servers all looked like college frat boys and not... More
