Late night refuge

Lately a friend and I have been taking refuge here at the brewery so we can have a drink, a bite, and uninterrupted gab time. One of the few places that doesn't roll up with the sidewalks. People are nice, food is good, and service is what it is dupposed to be: SERVICE. Thx CSB for your warmth and... read more

We had fine service and they were helpful in letting us taste different beers before we ordered. Their beers were really good and we enjoyed several different ones/types. We were hoping for 'delish' Irish lunch fare and were disappointed. The Shepherd's Pie was not pie-like at all, just a mash of veggies, meat randomly smothered with mashed potatoes and gravy.... You might think a brewery would have a nice bar, but forget it in this place! Their bar is very small and only has 8 seats! When we went in all 8 seats were occupied so we sat a a table in the bar area and perused the food and beer menus and waited...and waited. Finally after over 10 minutes... More

Local brewery/restaurant with good food. They have a very interesting mix of beer (ales, IPA, porter, stout) with even more interesting names (e.g., Twitches Wit, Pecker Wrecker). The beer is good - and so is the food. They have one of the best fish and chip offerings in Nashville. Wide variety of food selections - including pizza. Live music on... More

We seek out local craft breweries when we travel. The beer here was very tasty. The Amber ale and Titches Wit were our favorites. We ordered the special pizza. I think of pizza preferences as extremely individual, so if you like a regular crust, a decent amount of sauce and toppings and cheese, you will probably like it. The place... More

When we were looking of a unique, locally owned dining experience in Historic Franklin, TN, I thought the Cool Springs Brewery sounded like the perfect place. I was disappointed to see it is located in a strip mall---I was hoping for a historic atmosphere. However once inside, the interior was much better than expected. We had the soft pretzel appetizer... This was my second visit, and my husband and I both thought our salad with blackened chicken was excellent. Will definitely return. When you go, ask for Victoria---she gave us great service! Our only complaint is that upstairs there is not enough light. I had to turn my iPhone flashlight on to read the menu.
