Table of 8 we served ourselves water most of the evening. Server also accused us of spiking a coke. She was offered to taste it which she refused. When the head man was informed about the accusation, he showed little concern. They certainly are willing to take your money and watch you like a hawk to the point of paranoia.... More

I was so glad I heard about this place, and if anyone ever wants one of the most amazing dining experiences you'll ever have... try this place! It will cost you a few bucks for certain, and you will not order anything but your drinks. The menu is fixed quarterly, but good luck eating a 10+ course dinner. However, you'll... More

If you like to eat and have fun doing it...this is your place. The food is pretty good and they bring a lot of different dishes to the table. Fried olives were my favorite. The chicken is as tender and moist as any in Nashville. Lots of pasta as you would expect from a Italian resturant. In between courses, there... More

First time at Mangia Nashville and I'm ready to go back. We had the spring menu and for those who have not been, there is one menu and you will get a sampling of every item listed. These are very generous amounts and no one at our table could eat all the food. Place opens at 7:00 PM and the... More

Last Saturday we took "first timers" and having raved about Mangia Nashville, they were not disappointed. As always, the food is EXCELLENT! Can't get anything like it anywhere in Nashville. But add to that the singing, the dancing (I'll say no more so I don't ruin anyone's surprises) and the fact the Nick comes to each table TWICE during your... More

It is with a very heavy heart that I have now officially given up on the dream that I am ever going to have a good Southern Italian meal (aka, Italian American food, or what most Americans think of when they think of Italian food) in Nashville. Last night was my first experience with the phenomenon that is Mangia Nashville... More

Went to Mangia to celebrate two birthday with a party of 12. What a fun evening. Rachael our server introduced herself and told us to pace ourselves as there would be lots of great food and she was not kidding. The only problem was each dish was better than the last. Food is served family style there were 3 appetizers,... More

We went to Mangia last night for the second time to celebrate birthdays with good friends, and were not disappointed. It was even better than the first time because we knew to pace ourselves so we could enjoy all the fabulous food! Having moved to the Nashville area from New Jersey 7 years ago, it is difficult to find real... More

Mangia, Nashville? Who wouldn’t love a fun-filled, rocking evening with good food, good friends and a glass of fine wine? But to top it all off, the owner and chef Nick Pelligrino joins in the festivities, singing to 60’s “Do-Wop” music (and in this case the “Wop” stands for Italian), playing “drums” with kitchen spoons on the prep table and... Last night was our first time to Mangia, but it will not be our last! First of all, how anyone could complain about Mangia is beyond us. Yes it is loud. Yes, it is a long night. Yes, you will be seated with strangers if you do not have a large party. Yes, there is dancing. Yes there is a... More
