We were in Franklin ,Tn on business. We got finished late and the hostess was very accommodating. I had an appetizer, sesame tuna. It was very good. My friend had the fish tacos and they were good too. Great place!

Had the fish and chips and it was great! Little out of the way place but enjoyed our lunch and would go back again.

I grew up in Louisiana but left the New Orleans area in 1996 for Tennessee. Since that time I've been to any and all restaurants arounnd Tennessee that offer cajun food. Cajun Steamer is the best and most authentic I've found in the Nashville area. I should note that several of their dishes are also not cajun such as Royal... More

Tucked away in a strip mall in the insufferable area of Cool Springs, this is the place to go after being stuck in an office building all day. It has a real "neighborhood bar" feel, and the customers appeared to mostly be regulars. They have well made, reasonably priced drinks and a good selection of cold beer. The margaritas were... More

New & different. Friendly staff. We sat outside, in partial shade & it was perfect! I had red beans & rice - spicy & complex. Shrimp & grits also spicy & interesting. My friend loved the oysters. Medium priced lunch. Going for dinner soon.

I had the cochan and grits; they were amazing. Its pulled pork over cheddar grits with cajun au juz. I had some fried okra on the side, be sure to sprinkle the okra with the cajun seasoning at the table. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I've also had the mussels, they are great, too. This is a fun restaurant... More

The waitstaff were friendly if a little slow but the food was worth it. Had the Shrmip po-boy and gumbo a great lunch. Lots of seafood in both and at a reasonable price!

Compared the local Cancun places and chose this one, mainly due to price difference. Was not disappointed! Gumbo was fantastic. Catfish Po' Boy was tasty. Key Lime pie was average.

We went here with a group of co-workers. Food and service was good. There was live music but it was way too loud for such a small place. It was difficult to hold a conversation with the people at your table. We were traveling with our daughter and there was not much on the menu she would eat. No burger,... More

The food was good. Nothing amazing but nothing bad. We were happy to find a cajun place and were delighted to find chargrilled oysters. However, the oysters were just good. The gumbo was good but nothing amazing. Same with the shrimp and grits and red beans and rice. Since we do not get cajun much, my wife and I tried... More
