We chose Cajun Steamer for a team gathering during a recent hockey tourney trip to Nashville area and everyone was pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. Bill, Chris and the entire staff did a wonderful job accommodating roughly 15 youth hockey players and 25 adults. Mezzanine level was private and perfect and all the food was terrific. Would definitely... More

Visited this restaurant during the week of Thanksgiving 2014. Being from the Gulf Coast where there is an abundance of good seafood and seafood restaurants, I was somewhat disappointed in the fare this restaurant offered. The food was just so-so when compared to the quality of seafood I am used to eating. We paid $83.00 for dinner for two and... More

My friend invited my wife and me to join him and his lady friend here for drinks and dinner. First off when I sat down, he told the waitress that I cooked better Cajun food than was served here at the restaurant!....a little embarrassing, but she didn't hold it against me!! Regardless, I thought the experience was as nice or... More

In town for business I discovered this place through Yelp which was just outside of the Marriott Courtyard here in Franklin, TN. The ratings were mixed but on the positive side so I took a walk over and am glad I did. Small, casual atmosphere and friendly staff greeted my arrival. It was a quiet Monday evening so I sat... This is a hidden gem--so many good dishes to choose from it was very difficult. . .we sat upstairs so the noise level was down. Great selection of beers and any type of food you would like. My husband loved the Shrimp Creole which was full of shrimp, I had the Bayou Chicken which was very tasty. The sides are... More

It's a fun atmosphere, but it's cajun and should have known it would be spicy I ordered the jerk chicken and I could barely it eat it was so spicy.... also the service was really slow, they were all talking to each other, and hard to get their attention.. don't think I'll be going back.

Authentic Cajun food in the perfect environment, I enjoyed the stuffed catfish. Perfect texture and taste. Just enough heat to add to the experience , with a side of jambalaya. Excellent spot. I'll be back!

Loved my "not in New Orleans" Jambalaya! Great food and service. Noise a little over the top, but service made up for it. Near Franklin Courtyard and a nice area to walk after filling dinner.

This was a date night dinner choice and what a good one it was!! Great atmosphere and great food! It's hard to find good raw oysters in middle Tennessee that are affordable! We also have been on the hunt for steamed blue crab claws for years in our area and they had them... And they were amazing! Also had a... More
