Gondolier has a really diverse menu! They have everything from great pasta to a super good cheeseburger!

Pretty good food at a pretty good price. Service varies, sometimes good and sometimes bad. I love the grilled chicken salad and chicken fajita sub.

I ate here a couple years ago with a group of folks. Returned this evening for dinner. Not sure if it's that I have a faulty memory or if the Gondolier declined, but it wasn't great. The food preparation does not live up TJ the aspirations of the menu. With such limited options in Dayton, we might go back.

The sauce here is absolutely terrible!!! The sauce is comparative to Chef Boy Ardee. It could easily be altered and made to be good. The cakes are great but aren't made here. The rest of the food my husband and I have tried were fine but an Italian place with bad sauce is just plain bad. The dining area is... More

Gondolier has excellent pizza and breadsticks. My wife and I particularly like the grilled chicken dinner that has a greek salad, humus and pita bread. The amount of food is plentiful too.

I've had spaghetti and pizza here both were very good. Good atmosphere, not fancy, but good service at a reasonable price. When I'm in Dayton, I live in Chattanooga, this is usually where I'll eat.

We took a large group from out of town here for dinner. Several of the people opted to have pizza. One large loaded pizza was ordered for 3. All said it was very good and was big enough for the 3. Others ordered the Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna and Chicken Florentine. No one was disappointed. The waiter was good, not exceptional.... More

My husband is very picky but he enjoyed the fresh ingredients on his pizza. I enjoyed a salad with the best Ranch dressing I have ever tasted and the chicken parmesean. I'm not much of a spaghetti person and only had 2-3 bites of that. We both thouroughly appreciated the help of the waiter. These Tennessee people went out of... More

We just stopped in for a quick bit for lunch. We were promptly seated and the waitress was prompt to get our drink order. I inquired about the day's special and she didn't know what it was but she did go and look. Upon her return, I asked another question about the special and again she didn't know the answer.... More

we had Italian, which was good, but I personally don't like a sweet marinara, they had burgers and other things on the menu though. The real treat was the desserts, beautiful and delicious, we had the turtle cake to go and fought over after the first bite!
