Came here for our Anniversary dinner about 7:30 on a Tuesday evening. Several full tables, but we were still seated quickly and our server came right over. She returned quickly with our drinks and a bowl of HOT hushpuppies! I'm not crazy about seafood, so I had the teriyaki chicken with a salad & baked sweet potato. My husband had... More

First of all don't believe the negative reviews for this restaurant. We ate here for the first time on Friday 6/27/14. After reading the neg reviews I was skeptical. We were seated immediately at 430pm. Our waitress was there within a minute and took our drink order and was back right away with our drinks and a bowl of piping... More

Our class were like rubber and cold. Shrimp were reheated. Key lime pie was rubber and frozen. We are not happy.

Always good service and the atmosphere is great too. From appetizers to dessert, the food has always been wonderful, especially the seafood items, lots to choose from too.

I ordered from the Senior Menu - two items for $12.99. I received about $1 worth of flounder and two bread-filled-deviled crab and a side (I chose the baked sweet potato) and bland cole slaw. I should have been suspicious, when I saw the basket of little cups of oil spread on the table - no real butter, and the... More

Captain D's. Really, not great seafood. Frozen fish. Burned, yet undercooked, crab cakes. Ruby Tuesdays across the street would be a better choice.

You don't expect good seafood in the mountains, but when you are passing Dandridge it is worth the time to stop and sample the Captain's Galley. It is good eating!!

It was a great experience. Had been there before sometime ago and it still holds up to it reputation. Hush puppies are the greatest around. Had the birthday cake and singer to sing for my Mother. She enjoyed herself. It was a big surprise to her. Great to be able to be together with someone her age. May she have... More
