Pleasant surprise

Ate here on a Saturday night because we were staying at a hotel across the street. The restaurant shares a building with a local winery. It was very tastefully decorated, the staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. We both ordered the prime rib special and each serving was exactly... read more

While in FFG during mothers day, stopped in for a mid-day meal. The staff were friendly and the table server was appropriate and did a great job taking care of us and our glasses full of water or tea. I order the Seafood Neuberg on rice w/ a side salad. I probably have had better out of a Lean Cuisian... More

Went here because we were told it was fine dining. It isn't exactly fine dining but the meals were good. Vegetable was a little overcooked. It wasn't fancy but the service was good. And it serves wine, which is not a given in this area.

New owners trying to save money with lower quality meat. Filet Mignon was $27 and over cooked, horrible flavor. Food wasn't even hot. Very sad since this used to be one of our favorite places to eat in Fairfield Glade! Missing Halcyon Days!

Staying at Fairfield Glade and went to the Brass Lantern on Monday night. The restaurant was nicely decorated with tablecloths and nice dinnerware. The staff were very friendly and professional. I had the salmon with pecans, which I have never had before. It was great. Really liked the tomato-basil salad dressing. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in... More

The Food, Services and the Prices are worth the visit. This is one that you will miss as it is just off the interstate.

This restaurant was recommended to us and was told it was under new ownership. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. The waitress came to the table as soon as were seated to take drink orders and tell us the special. They had an excellent menu and the prices were good. We had awesome service and the food was... Nice atmosphere and excellent staff, but the food was way under par. The fish was extremely overlooked and the flavor was NOT impressive. For the price that was paid, this experience was disappointing.

We went to this restaurant primarily to see if the new owner/was capable of producing a good cost worthy meal. He was and we shall return.
