Great atmosphere, disappointing food.

We went to the Brass Lantern with friends from Europe. The side salads were fresh, and the grilled chicken salad was huge. However, the dressings were nothing special and the salad didn't even have croutons! The grilled fish was tasty, but not near worth the price. They do bring rolls before your... read more

Horrible food, terrible service, uninviting atmosphere. 116.00$. That's how much my husband and I paid for burnt, inedible steak and drinks. The service was some of the worst I've ever had. Let alone the dingy 1970's decor. When I let the owner know very discreetly we were dissatisfied they could have cared less. My grandmother had salmon she couldn't even choke... More

Finding hair in my dinner sealed the fate of this establishment for me! What more can I say other than the obvious, which is I will neither return nor recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped here for lunch on the way home from our vacation in Pigeon Forge and Asheville. The waitress was very nice and gave us very good service. Our sandwiches and burgers were delicious, but the deserts were so yummy! I have never had anything like the Chocolate Heaven. It was wonderful!

1st time here. Wife had talapia. I had pasta/lobster and Alfredo sauce. French onion soup was excellent. Wait staff was very attentive but not over bearing. Easy to find right off I40

Don't do it! Go buy yourself something instead of wasting your money. Prime rib tasted like roast and chicken tasted like coal

So after reading the reviews.... we decided to give it a try since gearing there were new owners. We were created immediately.. very friendly and nice atmosphere. Only one table was filled. We're approached immediately by more friendly staff. Decent menu and just what I had read online. The couple I was with ordered Pork Chops well seasoned and cooked... More

New owners have greatly improved the restaurant. The service was great and the food was excellent! We will definitely become frequent patrons of this fine dining establishment. We wish the Weismullers success and all the best in their new venture at the Brass Lantern.

We’ve been to this restaurant in the past and had a good meal so when deciding where to go for New Year's dinner we went back (mistake). I had looked at the menu online during the afternoon (urbanspoon.com) and after sitting down and opening the menu in the restaurant found it was not the same. There were half the items... More

Much improved with new ownership/management. Had reservations Saturday night and the place was packed. The service was average (considering the crowd) It was very noisy in the bar area, but we enjoyed our time with friends. The drinks, salad and food were good. It is a great evening option and I like supporting local businesses (not chain stores). The mushroom... More
