Much improved with new ownership/management. Had reservations Saturday night and the place was packed. The service was average (considering the crowd) It was very noisy in the bar area, but we enjoyed our time with friends. The drinks, salad and food were good. It is a great evening option and I like supporting local businesses (not chain stores). The mushroom... More

We loved this restaruant. It was recommended by the folks at the Super 8 and we had the best duck we tried in our lives. Hopefully we get a chance to eat here again!

Good food at AGREAT price. The only complaint was the temperature was set so low the ladies had to to the car and get cover ups. Mentioned to server and was told it was hot in the kitchen. Never did get a good temperature.

My friend and I were vacationing at Wyndham Fairfield Glade and was seeking a place for her to celebrate her 38th wedding anniversary (first anniversary away from her husband and she still wanted to celebrate it in a special way as they always do together). When I first read all the reviews I was quite hesitant at first in visiting... More

My daughter and son-in-law drove up here from Florida to take me to dinner on October 4, 2014, for my 80th birthday. My choice of restaurants was The Brass Lantern. We arrived at 6:30 for our appointed reservation time. The hostess seated us at a table near the partition in the front (where the cold air from the open doorway... More

I was there as the "guest" of a financial planner. We were allowed to choose from several menu items and most of the group ordered the steak. I had the salmon. Everyone said their meal was excellent and there were no complaints from anyone. The staff of the planner ate in the restaurant and ordered off the regular menu. Everyone... More

We are on a one week vacation in Fairfield Glade and rely on local peoples suggestions as well as trip advisors ratings for restaurants. After visiting a winery next door, we decided to have dinner here. My choice of chicken Wellington was excellent. Had a salad with blue cheese dressing was also very good. I would have given it a... DON'T BOTHER with this place EVER! We will NEVER return here! The NEW owner,James Weismuller, came to Brass Lantern from a local Nursing Home about 5 months ago(and we ALL know how good NH and hospital type food is!) My husband had the Grilled Pork Chop which was NO better than a grocery store chop-it was bone-in and THIN and... More

Went for lunch on July 16 and ordered the 1/2 sandwich with choice of soup or salad, and chose salad. Waitress came with the meal which included 1/2 sandwich and a bowl of soup, AND she said this meal only comes with soup there is another meal that comes with soup and salad, she didn't bring any menu to see... Took my husband to Brass Lantern in Crossville, TN for his birthday. I am gluten free and while they don't have a separate menu the owners Son is also Gluten free and she had a special roll for me. We had the shrimp cocktail, a filet with salad, potatoes and green beans. All were excellent. The steak was done to... More
