This is a neat little place. It is an apple orchard with a restaurant, farmers market and candy store on the same property. The food is AWESOME....they have turkey/dressing on Sundays and we sometimes go there for this reason. Service is always good. They bring you out apple dumplings (that look like hush puppies) and real apple cider before your... More

Cute place with down-home cookin' right in the middle of an apple orchard. Eggs, grits, gravy, biscuits, apple fritters, cider, apple butter, fluffy pancakes. Couple this with their fresh farm market in the same building and you've got a winner. Great prices on all types of produce & literally tons of different varieties of apples. Wonderful selection of all things... More

We have made it a tradition to stop at Carvers on our way into the Smokies for dinner & on our way out for breakfast each trip. We stopped for dinner on the way in. We were seated immediately. We were given fritters and apple cider. We ordered the pork chop special, chicken pot pie and the kids grilled cheese.... More

We went there because of the good ratings on Trip advisor so we went and had the chicken pot pie and the fried chicken. Fried chicken tasted like sour milk so we asked the waitress did they use buttermilk she told us she wasn’t sure but they use buttermilk in lot of their cooking so if you like the taste... More

The restaurant appeared very clean, although I did not use the restroom so can't comment on that. Food was average, price was fair. I enjoyed the store. The apples are delicious!

Any restaurant that gives you apple cider and apple fritters with homemade apple butter has to be good. Country cooking at its best. Well worth the drive from Gatlinburg. I always get country vegetable plate. My daughter loves the chicken pot pie. My son and husband get the special. We have never been disappointed. Check out the fruit/veggie stand for... More

First thing you get us homemade apple cider, apple fritters and apple butter, fabulous! I had the chicken dinner, you get four large pieces of chicken, salad and two sides. Their green beans were fresh like Momma use to cook. I recommend the stop it is worth your time and you will leave full.

This place is a little far out there if you're staying in Gatlinburg, but it is well worth the trip. I think it has the best chicken and dumplings in the area. We've been here several times at this point, and have always had excellent service and delicious food. Make sure to set aside some time to go to their... More

I usually go to Carver's for dinner one or two times when we are at our cabin nearby. Their food is above average relative to other alternatives in the Newport area. However, I noticed yesterday that they have cut the size of their chicken pot pie in half . It is a skinny portion for a little old lady that... More
