Highly recommend Carvers Applehouse. We went for dinner. The fried catfish and trout were perfectly cooked. The apple fritters were excellent. The setting is on rolling hills and an apple orchard. Only issue is they say they are open until 8:00 pm but it is clear that they plan to close up shop shortly after 8:00, not serve until 8:00.... More

Carver's Applehouse is a great find for a reasonably priced country meal. Their hours this summer were 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM. We had dinner and the portions were ample. My husband had the pork chop special, my dad had the chicken and dumplings (which was chock full of chicken) and I had the 4 piece southern fried chicken. You... More

I have been to Gatlinburg many times over the years. How have I missed this place? The best potpie I have ever had! They also have a candy store and fresh produce. Worth the drive, you won't regret the trip.

We enjoyed the Applehouse and the market and candy store next door. The food was really good (not the best you've ever had, but really good). We felt the value was good (entrees around $10). This is a great place to go if you're staying between Gatlinburg and Cosby. Great service.

My granddaughters love visiting the restaurant and apple barn. Food is great and prices are very reasonable prices. Best fried apple pies, taste just like my granny use to make.

I stopped after hiking Mt Cammerer on July 4th. The food was excellent. There is also a great produce market, candy and gifts.

Something a little different, a combination farm stand and restaurant. Excellent homestyle mountain cooking. The apple cider, apple butter and and apple fritters served with the meal is a nice touch, and the food is well prepared and the staff friendly and attentive. The trout dinner is a 'must try' - recommend it broiled.

We were staying in a cabin nearby and the AppleHouse was recommended. It is located on an apple orchard with the mountains behind it. The view out of the restaurant windows is very pretty. The food was very good. You get a lot of food. We were stuffed when we left. However, it is a little pricey, since all meals... More

All entrees were over $10. This included a salad and apple fritters but the salad appeared to be of the bagged variety and mine had several browned clumps and the fritters were okay. I would get the soup next time it looked really good. The rolls were unique we had pot pie and pork chops. The pie was simple but... More
