We stopped in after being on the road for several hours for a late afternoon appetizer to hold us off til dinner. Menu was lacking. Zero for appetizers. They explained their menu catered to the tourists who stopped in from the train that came through town. We ended up eating 4.00 grilled cheese sandwiches that were plain old grilled cheese... More

Service was good, beer was cold but food was lacking. Had a Reuben sandwich with hardly any meat. No French fries only chips. Although the restaurant was decorated nicely there is really no resemblance of an Irish Pub except for the name.

Took the train from Blueridge to Copperhill and decided to have lunch here since the advertisement said "stacked sandwiches". We went in and inquired about the Reuben to which the waiter said "they ain't like dey are up in New York but there still big. He must have had the appetite of a child. Tiny awful tasting sandwhich. My son... More

Nice people but lousy McDonald's type burger for $8. Cool little town but wouldn't recommend this place to eat.

The owners were trying their best to please, but the food was terrible. I ordered a turkey and swiss sandwich and got lunchmeat with a slice of processed swiss cheese on bread that I could buy at Walmart. It was served with bottom of the bag potato chip crumbs. The "brewed" ice tea was horrible, as well. I don't know... More

We had a family group ride the train to Copperhill and then decided the "pub" sounded good. It was in my opinion the worst food possible. Frozen food barely cooked, my mushroom burger was served with cold canned mushrooms. Not a place to go for a meal - this is not a restaurant as far as I could see.

All their frozen food is cooked on a George Foreman grill--yuck--it was horrible. I would never go back to that place or the miserable town of Copperhill.

If you value sanitary food prep, stay far away from this place. We stopped in after riding the Blue Ridge Rail to Copperhill, lured by the "Irish pub" billing. But nothing about this place is Irish, except maybe some beers. Our server mentioned that the kitchen doesn't have a fryer -- all food is made on the "grill" -- so... More

Just OK. Reubens were sparse on meat. Hot dog small. Cheeseburger just OK. Service a little slow. Stopped here for two hours on Blue Ridge Scenic Train. They had a crowd but not slammed.

We went to watch the Halloween parade and thought we would get a drink. It took forever to get service, wished we would have just left. We ordered the cold grilled bacon and cheese, which was flat and served with chips.. not worth the $5+ everyone else got Brats that were cold. Those came with chips and were $7+ and... More
