Fresh made pizza

First time we ate here was 40 years ago. They have gotten better. We split a large pizza that was half the special and half meat lovers. Took about a half hour to get it. They do it all from scratch and the toppings were great. Crust was good.

Gondola has real good pizza, but they always accidently burn their pizza. They have great service, but they always burn the pizza. I would recommend this if YOUR ARE NOT A PICKEY EATER.

Excellent food, great location at the Cookeville exit on I-40 and professional service. A great formula, especially for weary travelers.

We have eaten here previously but it's been awhile... SO glad we decided to try it again. The sign outside said they won best Italian in 2013 for Cookeville and I can understand that. It was outstanding! We ate during lunch, and it was not particularly crowded on a Tuesday. Surprising. We had the Big Fat Greek Salad, spaghetti and... More

Excellent variety. Nothing I have had here had been bad, and we've been numerous times. Their pizza is very good. And what's up with ordering catfish and ribs at an Italian place?? I'm not surprised you were disappointed.

But they wouldn't let us do that. There are two white pizzas, so we had half each. Don't remember the names, but the one with the tomato slices is a bit better. I guess that sounds boring, but it really was good. Also, they closed right after we were there, like before eight, so maybe check the time before you... More

Four of us walked from our hotel which was just across the road. Our friends ordered the chicken Alfredo, which they both loved, saying it was the best they've ever had. I had the spaghetti & meatballs. The portion was VERY small, & the meatballs tasted like frozen. My husband ordered pizza, & it was not good- crust was tough.... More

The menu includes great Italian and Greek choices along with chicken strips for picky kids. We love the eggplant parmesan, snd the kids ususlly grt thr spaghetti and meatballs. The service is fast and friendly. Save room for dessert! Close to the interstate for travelers.

We ate at this restaurant as it was near our hotel and we could walk to it. The service was very slow considering it was not very busy. I ordered the catfish. The small single fillet had a very heavy breading. There was more breading than fish. My husband had ribs and again it was a very small amount. Would... More

ordered a large pie and got a 12' pie. I asked for 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 extra cheese. There was 1 slice of pepperoni and cheese was the same on both sides. Crust was like cardboard. Being from the Philadelphia area I have to confess that perhaps this is just how they like they pizza here. Not a Philly or... More
