My favorite is the 4 cheese pizza, but I've tasted several others and all are nothing short of amazing. The quality of the ingredients is extremely high, which results in a flavorful pie with a perfect crust that's both... More

Smells just like the great Central Grocery in New Orleans. Unparalleled, easy friendly atmosphere. Wonderful owners who attend to every detail to make even the casual dining experience memorable.

My husband and I totally enjoyed our experience. Friendly people. Bread on sandwiches was amazing. I had the eggplant parmasean sandwich. It was cooked perfectly and had the right balance of cheese, sauce and eggplant - served on a baguette which was crispy and so tasty. I could only eat half so my husband finished it and he was amazed.... More

My wife and I found this place doing an internet search and boy are we glad we did! We were passing through Cookeville after returning from a Florida vacation. The owner, it turns out is from Connecticut (as am I) and so we talked for a minute about the old days. Ms. Sharon waited on us and was just a... More

My main assertion is that this is the leader of the pack for pizza in Cookeville. The crust is amazingly crisp and the toppings full of flavor in a way that can't be captured by text. The seasoned tomatoes make everything better and their non-traditional offerings (such as gyro pizza) are top notch. I feel, however, that this emphasis on... More

Quaint place for lunch. Pizza by the slice is very good and the sandwiches are tasty as well! It is always busy at lunch so if you are in a hurry call ahead.

Pizza by the slice or not is excellent. Sandwiches are great if I ever get one, usually can not get by the pizza. Have deli items among very many other things you can purchase in the store for home cooking. It is truly an international grocery. The owners, Al and Sharron, are always on site and are very pleasant and... More

Drove from Knoxville JUST to eat lunch at World Foods! Spent the day seeing the sights and hiking Cummins Falls State Park. Then back for another great meal before driving the hour home. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. We will be back again soon!
