Delicious!

A small, quaint place that has delicious pizza, tabbouleh, and New York-style cheesecake. It's off I-40 a bit but worth the detour. The owners are friendly and want you to enjoy their offerings.

I went to world foods for lunch after coming into Cookeville for a training . Two of my colleagues joined me. I've learned that most jewels are off the beaten Path and this place is no different! All three of entries were Delish! It's a small quaint little place with only 5 four tops inside and two tables on the... More

This restaurant epitomizes the role of a location that is small and worth the drive. It draws you in with its local charm while selling international items that only the keenest hipster will recognize. French press anyone? They sell drinks by the can/bottle and their pizza is amazing. They sell it by the slice for lunch and it comes with... More

This is a quaint little place in the older part of town. They offer pizza whole or by the slice. We discovered this place many years ago and keep going back. The family that owns it is always friendly. They offer a nice assortment of drinks and items you don't find just anywhere. They have other food but the pizza... More

This is a small grocery/ dining cafe. You can get your "not easy to find groceries" and then buy pizza or sandwiches or buy deli meats to take with you. It's family run, so it's not open late or everyday.

My wife and I stopped in World Foods while we were in Cookeville. We had noted that World Foods was the #1 rated restaurant there and wanted to check it out. We were pleased to confirm the previous comments. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a unique atmosphere in the middle of Tennessee. If you didn't know where you... More

Reading the reviews before visiting I was a bit turned off by the grocery-restaurant hybrid. I had this picture of a deli section at a large food company. Instantly that picture was shattered as I walked in. The smell was amazing and I feel like the grocery items from all over the world was the theme for the small restaurant... More

The veggie pizza slices here are my all time favorite anywhere -- the crust is perfect and the vegetables are perfectly cooked and abundant. The tiramisu was a satisfying end to our lunch. Nice selection of sodas. Our bill was under $10 each, getting everything we wanted. We will return whenever we are passing through.

If you're looking for a quaint, unique, and delicious lunch spot look no more! I probably eat here once a week and it never gets old. The pizza is amazing and so are the sandwiches- the eggplant parme is my favorite. Even better, it's one of the cheapest places to get a meal. My only wish is that they would... More

What a little gem that is definitely worth a couple of miles off interstate. Why is it so great - fabulous pizza - crisp thin crust and fresh toppings - that you can buy by the slice. Wonderful hand-crafted sandwiches. Tabouli with a twist - light on parsley. The New York cheesecake was yummy. GO NOW! Owners are talking about... More
