They have an impressive buffet lineup. Most of the different types of items to pick from are fresh and very tasty. The hot and sour soup is incredibly delicious. The egg foo young is probably my second favorite item on the bar. The one minus are the egg rolls. They are tiny and mostly bread.

The food here was good Chinese food. The selection was good and varied. All was fresh and warm. There were no problems and the food was very enjoyable.

We were thrilled to pay $10.99 and the buffet included crab legs! We paid dinner price to get the crab legs even though we were there in time for lunch. We then went back another night and brought a friend and did the dinner again. We also paid for the four kids between us, making our bill over $80. When... More

We come here for the Mongolian grill and I come for the sushi. Fresh ingredients really make the grill and sushi great. There is the usual spread of Chinese Buffet food, my favorite being the coconut shrimp at dinner. There is a whole buffet table with American food, as well, so you don't have to love Chinese food to eat... More

Not much Chinese about this place. All the food has cheese melted all over it. YUCK. Went once, Never been back.

Food was Fresh. Service and price were great. I would rather pay a dollar or two more per person and leave satisfied. The only down side we thought of was none of the food had the spice/heat/flavors you expect from dishes such as General Tso... Everything was just sweet. That maybe what some reviews were referring to when they called... More

When in Cookeville I enjoy eating here. Clean, friendly, fresh food, always good. Have given up on the buffets in our town, nice to find a clean buffet restaurant.

At Mandarin Palace, I have found the food to always be hot, fresh and delicious! (Until I went to this restaurant, at the insistance of my sister-in-law, I had stopped going to Chinese Buffets, since the food always seemed lukewarm.) On top of the vast array of food, and how well attended the food on the buffet is, there is... More

A little above average for a Chinese buffet, service was good. A little high on the price.
