Cookeville has a ton of chain eating places just off Interstate 40, but if you have a little time, venture downtown near the old railroad depot museum and check out Crawdaddy's West Side Grill. The terrace overlooking a nice patio is a cool place. All of the food we ordered was fresh and tasty. It was a warm day and... More

Everything we had was delicious. My daughter and I went for lunch and had their Po Boys. They were so good as well as the Oyster on the half shell.

Crawdaddy's consistently delivers great food, superb service and a relaxed fun atmosphere. While it has a Cajun/Creole theme I think that the real stars on the menu are the ribeye, the citrus glazed salmon and the shrimp and grits.

This was my second visit to this small, yet real cozy bar and restaurant. The food here is very good with a flare for Louisiana Cajun and seafood specialty. The outside dining is nice during warmer weather. The wait staff were all very attractive if that matters. :o)

Food was great! Only negative thing would be that for a large party the area where we were seated was cramped.

Their food is great! I love sitting outside in the courtyard. It is a hopping place so get there early if you want a good seat and make sure you try the crab dip :-)

The salmon with an orange citrus sauce and goat cheese was simply one one the best meals I have in a long long time. Too bad the restaurant is so far away from where I live. I'm hoping to find one closer. The server had a cute personality, very efficient and accommodating. Our friends loved their meal also.

Crawdaddy's is one of our local favorites. Why patronize a franchise when there are so many fantastic local restaurants and choices. Crawdaddy's has always been one of our favorites. We love the outdoor courtyard, weather permitting. They even have a covered outdoor balcony to sit in. Just a great location with great food and great service in historic downtown Cookeville.

I have eaten here twice, and both times enjoyed my meal. The crabcakes were very good. I believe ive also tried the chicken fingers and gator bites. The atmosphere is nice and not too far from I40 if you are stopping from a trip. I always keep this one in mind when eating in Cookeville.

Great food, prices, service, and atmosphere. Love sitting on the patio listening to live music. Under 30.00 for two was a great deal not to mention the portions are right on target.
