This place is a must in Columbia! The burgers are the best. You can not go wrong with a milk shake either. I love the pineapple milkshake! Be warned they can be a little slow, because they are busy! It is worth the wait!

Ok, so the food was a bit pricey for a greasy 1960's former curbside joint. That said it was worth every penny. I had the 3rd largest burger there and it was all i could do to get it down. The curly fries and cheese sticks were flavorful and tasty. The staff was super friendly, and had to be, as... More

This is an old timey "dairy dip" type restaurant. The burgers are good and sloppy like they should be. The broasted potatoes are fantastic.Have a small order unless you're super hungry or splitting with someone! It's hard to find broasted food and this place has it right. The building looks a little rough but it's old and still looks the way... More

This burger place has been around for decades and can safely say one of the best burgers in the area. The people are very friendly, burgers made to order, and you can never beat the quaintness of a small town local burger hangout. Nice outdoor covered seating. Came here often as a child and it has changed very little since... More

I recently moved to the area and was looking forward to trying a local place. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as we had to wait for over 30 minutes for burgers and fries. It was also very frustrating to see people arrive after us and get their burgers first. And maybe that would be forgivable if the burgers were awesome, but... More

I love Jumbo House ! It's one of my favorite places to eat in town. Anything you choose you can't go wrong. We eat here about once a week and I've never been disappointed. The people are so friendly. I would strongly recommend this place. Some of the best burgers and their chef salad with grilled chicken is to die... More

Great burgers and most are bigger than anyone should be able to finish! Burgers taste like the ones made at Mom and Pop burger joints of yesteryear. The largest burger is 12 ounces of beef and the smallest come in at 3-4 ounces. My double patty 8 oz burger was juicy, not greasy, and served on a toasted bun. If... More

They make a good burger here. But, the service is very slow. The restaurant needs some updating. My wife liked the fried chicken, but again may need to allow some time. Worth a shot, but it is not as good as some other local burger joints.

Doesn't have the notoriety of the Heart Attack Diner,; but, if you are interested in down home, melt in your mouth (and hands!) burgers, this is the place for you. There burgers are obscenely good as are the sides. Fish and chicken available too, but the burgers are the draw. For all the transplants, forget In and Out - this... More
