Hey Y'all! Stan's Restaurant has been servin' up the best in country cooking and friendly hometown service for generations of travelers and locals alike. We've been in these parts since 1947, and we know how Country Cookin' should be done, from scratch and with love. Breakfast around here steals the show, but don't worry, you can get it all day long. Come enjoy house favorites like our Po'ke Chops & Aigs, Country Ham, and Homemade Biscuits & Sawmill Gravy. If yer feelin' real country, give our Po'ke Brains & Aigs a try, they won't disappoint! Our real pit smoked BBQ is a must try, it's the real deal fo'ks. From our Kracklin' Cornbread, Turnip Greens, and Black-Eyed Peas to our fried Frog Legs...We mean to keep the Country in Country Cookin'! Stopping at Stan's is a Middle Tennessee tradition for truckers, travelers, and even a few famous fo'ks making their way to Music City. Come in and browse our antiques, souvenirs, and a few oddities you won't find anywhere else. Our Country Store (it's the original, by the way) stocks local jams, jellies, and the like to take home and enjoy. We ship our Famous Country Smoked Hams, Specialty Bacon and Sausage anywhere in the world! Whether it's to get gas for yer car, or food for yer Southern lovin' soul, Stan's has been keepin' it country for a long time now and we aim to please. Bye Y'all and see ya soon!

No Way!

We ate at Stan's in June 2014 and were dismayed how ill-kept the dining area looked. The debris under our table made me apprehensive to eat the food that was served. Sorry. I guess its not my kind of place.

Had the pleasure of eating here twice this week. The country fried steak was great as was the pulled pork. And the side dishes, wow, black eyed peas and pinto beans are like grandma used to make. And love that Kraklin Corn bread. Really great with the cracklings in it. The only way it could be better if it had... More

Stan's is a great greasy-spoon restaurant off of I-65, south of Nashville and Franklin, TN. Their country ham and pork chops were grilled to perfection. Any time that I can get grits as a standard side, I'm in heaven. The service was friendly, attentive, and polite. I loved watching the interaction with regulars...lots of stories and laughter. I'm definitely stopping... More

We stopped while traveling and started to stop at Cracker Barrel across the street but like to try local places. So sorry we did. I had country fried steak and it was processed, mashed potatoes and white beans were dried up. Other meals was fried catfish - didn't say they fried the whole fish and had to pick if off... More

Stopped here based on a billboard ad looking for a good breakfast. We weren't disappointed. Everything ordered was to our liking and style (country breakfast). The service was prompt and country courteous.

The food was terrible the sausage gravy comes from a can the home fries are a frozen deep fried product and the hash brown were also a frozen product. We were very disappointed as it looks like and old truck stop diner. We will not return.

Stan's is something of a legend, just off I-65 at exit 46. The walls are lined with celebrity photos. Many popular artists have obviously stopped by on their way to or from Nashville. Stan's is a typical old style truck stop. The only thing missing is the haze of cigarette smoke thanks to the non-smoking ordinances now. Seating yourself at... More

we went to Cracker Barrel first but it was closed so we went across the road to Stan's and were not disappointed. Our food was great because of the large portions of comfort food....breakfast served all day and our meals were cooked nicely. Cracklings cornbread was delicious, as was the country ham! Service and atmosphere was good and prices were... More

My wife and I stopped at Stan's for lunch on our way to Alabama from Louisville. We had read some reviews and thought it was a safe bet to have good BBQ. We weren't impressed. Both of us ordered pulled pork sandwich platters and we shared an order of fried pickle slices. I ordered mine on cornbread, my wife ordered... More
