We so enjoyed our visit here. This place is so unique! The down home food was excellent and the waitress was very pleasant. Mary Jo came around and talked with her customers and we were able to see Joey in the the kitchen area although she didn't come out to visit with the customers that day. Will definitely return whenever... More

Being huge fans of Joey + Rory, we have had numerous occasions to eat at Marcy Jo's. Breakfast is always great! Thank you, Marcy, for all your hard work! Credit/debit now accepted.

I cannot begin to describe how delicious the poppy seed chicken casserole is. It's a southern treat that one has to experience. The mealhouse may be small, but that only adds to the charm and hospitality. We stopped by during a particularly busy time (Joey+Rory concert day) and found the staff more than prepared for the 'rush'. The food was... More

We had the catfish dinner and a cinnamon roll - everything was fresh, good-tasting, and homemade! Met Marcy Jo when she came out and went around to all the tables to speak to diners.

Wow. This place just keeps getting better. . When we go to Nashville, it is a must to go here to eat. It is like 40 miles but well worth it. This time we went twice, lunch and then back for breakfast the next morning. Just a great setting. Reminds me of growing up. . Marcy keep it coming, one... More

We arrived in Spring Hill Tn, after a overnight drive from Tampa. Late afternoon I thought it would be nice to grab a quick meal at Marcy Jo's, which was about a 20 minute drive from where we are staying. I have been to Marcy Jo's a few other times and always had a decent meal My wife said she... More

Recently visited the Nashville & surrounding areas for vacation, and had quite a mix of restaurant experiences. Some were better than others, and by that, I mean that in this instance, this was one of "the others" that was not so great. Went because of familiarity with the music team owners, but while I will remain a fan of theirs,... More

We had free time during the day on our Nashville trip and decided to go to Marcy Jo's. It was about an hour from the Opryland area, but worth the drive. The directions on the website are dead on! We had the buffalo chicken sandwich which we enjoyed. The best part of the meal was dessert....huge portions. We were stuffed... More

Be aware that this restaurant does not accept payment by credit cards. We did not realize this until we had completed our delicious breakfast and stood by the cash register. I had a vegetable omelet with homemade white toast and jam. My spouse had a western omelet with homemade wheat toast and home fries. I admit I tasted the potatoes... More

This restaurant is at the intersection of two two-lane highways in rural Middle Tennessee. It doesn't look like much from outside, but the inside is eclectic and charming. The food is fantastic, but the menu may be limited. The deserts are unbelievably good. The service is quick and friendly.
