Recently visited the Nashville & surrounding areas for vacation, and had quite a mix of restaurant experiences. Some were better than others, and by that, I mean that in this instance, this was one of "the others" that was not so great. Went because of familiarity with the music team owners, but while I will remain a fan of theirs,... More

We had free time during the day on our Nashville trip and decided to go to Marcy Jo's. It was about an hour from the Opryland area, but worth the drive. The directions on the website are dead on! We had the buffalo chicken sandwich which we enjoyed. The best part of the meal was dessert....huge portions. We were stuffed... More

Be aware that this restaurant does not accept payment by credit cards. We did not realize this until we had completed our delicious breakfast and stood by the cash register. I had a vegetable omelet with homemade white toast and jam. My spouse had a western omelet with homemade wheat toast and home fries. I admit I tasted the potatoes... More

This restaurant is at the intersection of two two-lane highways in rural Middle Tennessee. It doesn't look like much from outside, but the inside is eclectic and charming. The food is fantastic, but the menu may be limited. The deserts are unbelievably good. The service is quick and friendly.

I love this little hole in the wall mealhouse. The staff is freindly and well versed in the menu. The food comes to the table in a blink of an eye! The food is stick to your ribs good! Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had!

I wouldn't make a special trip again for this, but if I happen to be in the area, it is a good stop. The desserts were very flavorful and the portions were huge. I had the strawberry cake and my husband had the coca-cola cake. They were very rich. For the actual meal, we had the ribs with potato salad... More

Love to go to Marcy Jo's on Saturdays because they serve breakfast all day. Can't pass up the stuffed French toast with berries. Reminds you of a "farm" family setting down for dinner. We live about 20 miles away, but we try to get there every few weeks. They make you feel like family!

I just couldn't wait to eat here ever since I first watched Joey and marcy on rfd. We went on a Saturday around 11:30am. Parking is pretty bad but we squeezed in somehow. The place was packed. They told us there would be a 20 minute wait. We were offered cinnamon rolls but declined cause I didn't want to get... More

Marcy Jo's is a really different kind of restaurant, squeezed into a small building. It's country all the way, and you could spend an hour just looking at the things on the walls. The waitresses have always been pleasant, service is fast, and the food is good. They're open for breakfast and lunch through the week, and on Fri and... More

We went for breakfast. If you like quaint, nostalgic places, this is for you. The girls, Megan and Hopie, were very kind. Our breakfast was hot and yummy. Really fun place to eat. Try it.
