Marcy Jo's is a really different kind of restaurant, squeezed into a small building. It's country all the way, and you could spend an hour just looking at the things on the walls. The waitresses have always been pleasant, service is fast, and the food is good. They're open for breakfast and lunch through the week, and on Fri and... More

We went for breakfast. If you like quaint, nostalgic places, this is for you. The girls, Megan and Hopie, were very kind. Our breakfast was hot and yummy. Really fun place to eat. Try it.

My husband and I stopped in late morning and had breakfast. How can you mess up eggs and bacon? Eggs were difficult to eat and the bacon was burned beyond recognition. The gravy they were touting was dreadful. The biscuits were the only thing edible. The waitress staff were very personable and the place is cute, but I cannot see... More

A small rustic building made famous by it's food and connection to fame. We may watch the 'Joey & Rory Show' but here Marcey is the star. Made welcome as we walked in, Marcey quickly seated us and took our drink order & gave us our menus. The menu is almost made unnecessary by the daily selection. On weekdays there... More

I have eaten at Marci Jo's 6 or 7 times in the past. The food has always been very good. The building is very old and that gives the place charm national chains don't have. Today when I entered a waitress was at the back of the restaurant. She ask how many then motioned for me to set at the... More

We stopped by Marcy Jo's for lunch. Had seen it featured on RFD tv on the Joey and Rory show. The place is quaint and gets awfully crowded. I can only imagine how it is at supper time, or when they have a show there. You can get the 'meal of the day' or a sandwich for lunch. Friday is... More

MJ's Mealhouse is a southern-style meat-and-three that serves in a hundred year old country store. We had the lunch choices of Liver and Onions, Chicken Fried Steak or Fried Chicken and the food was better than the average for this sort of thing. Everybody in our party of five was more than satisfied with the quality, quantity, and taste. We... More

When this place came into view, I simply shrieked! I had looked it up online and Evan had gone on and on about it - so I "knew" what to expect, but seeing it live and in person was just fantastic! The food was amazing... Good home cooking... I had eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and wheat toast (homemade bread) -... More
