Dinner consisted of a pre-packaged chicken cutlet which had been reheated in the oven or microwave. The one positive feature of the evening was the German beer which was good, however, you can purchase comparable German beers at most local grocery stores for less.

Its a wonderful little restaurant. Its such a treat to find this jewel in Collierville. The food was delicious and the service is superb. We ordered the dinner for two and tried a variety of dishes. We were extremely satisfied and full when finished. Some say in their reviews its expensive but we did't think it was for the amount of... More

Ate there once. Would not go back again. Have visited Germany and eaten real German food and this was definitely pure German food. Thought the pricing was high for what was served. We ate there with friends who shared our disappointment in the food. Service was excellent but that was the highlight of the visit.

A friend suggested this restaurant for our first dinner, and I'm glad she did. The service was friendly and fast. Attentive without being intrusive. I'm not typically a beer drinker, but I managed to find one I liked. (No wine or liquor available.) My friend had the Bratwurs with Sauerkruat. It looked very tasty and was a generour portion -... Over priced. Veal patty tasted like Sisco, sauerkraut tasted canned, mushroom gravy tasted like from the jar. Beer on tap not correct on the menu. Menu small. Of the three specials, "none of the specials are available today. I heard it was good but not to me.

We looked for a German restaurant in Germantown & fortunately found Mary's in neighboring Collierville. We all had schnitzels & the food was very good. Also, it was fun to find a local restaurant rather than a chain while we were traveling. Food is prepared to order so don't be in a hurry. Sit back, enjoy the great draft beers... More

Yes the menu is somewhat limited, yes the food is little pricey and yes the ambiance is sparse but the food is wunderbar! The proprietor is also the cook and she speaks with a very strong German accent and I feel therefore that the cuisine is authentically German. My wife and I had a brats with sauerkraut for an appetizer.... More

My husband and I were visiting Memphis and decided to take the 35 minute drive to Collierville to eat at this German restaurant. I ordered the wiener schnitzel and mushroom gravy with sauerkraut and spaetzle on the side. I was really turned off by the package gravy and CANNED mushrooms! The schnitzel was dry and overcooked. The menu selection was... More

Our daughter took us to Mary's when we visited her in Colliervile, TN. It's small and clean, with just enough German decor to make it authentic but not tacky. The food is amazing! I had the chicken Weinerschnitzle (Spelling may be off) and it literally made my mouth water! Their home made sauerkraut is perfect - not too salty or... More
