Great southern food, right of the interstate! Broasted chicken for me and juicy pork chops for the significant other.

This restaurant is where the locals go, which in our book is the best recommendation! It has a very home like feel, we were greeted right when we came in by a very pleasant hostess. The atmosphere was relaxing and home town. We were seated in a booth with plenty of room to stretch out. Our waitress was an awesome... More

This is far from the tastiest or most interesting southern food that I have eaten, but I rate it 'very good" rather than "good" because it is so inexpensive. I ordered a daily special which was a pork chop in mushroom gravy with two sides. The pork chop didn't look appetizing because it wasn't browned before being braised, so was... More

My husband and I stopped here while on a road trip, and we're very glad we ate here rather than one of the many fast food places nearby. My husband had a hot roast beef sandwich - real roast beef, the cook told him they slow cook it for eight hours. I had a grilled chicken salad, which was a... More

Loved this great find, so glad we didn't go to the fast food right across from hotel. This was just a block down the road and what a great find. Old house turned rest. Excellent food. Great variety too. Lemon marangue pie was great. Would definitely go there again.

Ann and Jeanne Golden have a restaurant at 2211 Charles Seivers Blvd. in Clinton, Tn. We stopped there for our first time while on vacation. The two sisters have the best home cooking that we have ever had. It really made our vacation special.

Awesome food--breakfast, lunch and dinner! I have been coming here for years and the quality remains the same! Great country breakfast and meat and three! Highly recommended and just off Interstate 75.

We found this restaurant when the one recommended by the hotel clerk was overcrowded. This one was not, but I think it was because it was the type of restaurant frequented by locals who probably eat earlier than 8:00:). My husband loved his liver and onions and green beans, while I enjoyed a baked ham dinner. All was tasty, but... More

We stopped on our way through TN today and was pleasantly surprised with the home cooking. The roasted chicken was very tasty along with the green beans. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere cozy.

My boyfriend and I were headed home from our trip to Gatlinburg and happened to stop at this exit for lunch. We saw the sign and decided to be adventurous and see what this little place was all about. We laughed about the name and weren't sure what we'd find, but a packed parking lot was a good start. It's... More
