Always impressed by the solicitiousness of service staff at the BHB - especially the hardworking tenders of the bar!

The atmosphere is perfect and the wait staff was more than helpful even though I came close to closing time. I had the wild game dinner and the bison and quail were perfect. The elk is a lean meat and didn't have a lot of flavor but the gravy and potatoes went nicely with it. The manager suggested a wine... More

This is a very unusal restaurant because it is upscale yet casual. It is great for special occasions and just a night out. The food is fine dining in a western atmosphere (think Jackson Hole Wyoming lodge). The service is impeccable. My wife and I go any chance we get. I order whatever the chef has special that day. It... More

The old west great lodge feel inside would lead one to guess the food would not be the upper class quality that it is. I go there a couple times a year, and it never disappoints! The almond crusted grouper is out of this world.

I have been to this restaurant several times. The staff is wonderful. The food always leaves something to be desired and is inconsistent. Examples are; The bone marrow over the steak went from being nice on my previous visit to essentially wet bread crumbs on my last visit. The mussles starter went from nice and creamy to being like "boil... More

I've been to BHB many times over the years, and with very few exceptions, they have always been a really nice place for a date, business lunch, or a quiet date. The menu is complete with everything from a cheeseburger to exotic game, such as elk. I've always enjoyed their caesar salad, which has polenta croutons. They are crunchy on... More

The only problem - hard to pick among the incredible variety and quality of creations offered! We went with some standards - BHB filet and the Vegetable Napolean. These dishes were incredible, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and with the finest ingredients. Even the house salad that came with the filet was nearly a meal in itself. My wife and I decided... More
