Asked a local business to recommend a nice place for lunch when we were in Cleveland. They immediately directed us to Cafe Roma. The restaurant is located in a historic building in downtown. The dining is charming, brick walls, old wood ceiling, funky art on the walls. The real stars were our meals.

I gave this restaurant another chance, but I was not impressed. My pasta dish came out looking and tasting like canned Chef Boyardee from the grocery store. The restaurant has a quaint appeal but the hype about the food was not real on my day! Last chance failed.

I would give them a higher rating if I could. My family (15 person group) came here for a late dinner. Café Roma (and especially our server Beth) rose to the occasion with exceptional service and great food. People were arriving at different times, orders were all over the place, bills were split, the table was in good spirits but... More

3 of us ate lunch here not knowing what to expect. It is in an older building but is very comfortable. We ordered the mushroom appetizer and it was fabulous, then we shared an entrée of chicken, angel hair pasta and their pink sauce- it was amazing! The only negatives I have are the waitress was not friendly at all,... More

Fresh ingredients. Unique dishes. Appetizers are good. Try the bruschetta options. Have never had a pasta dish there I did not like. Quiet atmosphere.

My husband and I heard about this place from a local and we were glad we listened. Super nice staff! Pretty decent italian food & great ambience. Only negative was the water in the ladies room sink, when you wash your hands take note - the water gets EXTREMELY HOT almost instantly. Happy eating!!!

Went for a late lunch. Keep in mind they close at 2:00 and reopen at 5:00 for dinner. Had the Chicken Parmigiana. It was served on a bed of angel hair pasta that was lightly seasoned with olive oil and garlic. It was very good. I have had some nasty fake Italian food and I have had the real thing...This... More

We walked in thinking it was a pizza joint and were pleasantly disappointed as we shifted our palate to choose from their very interesting offerings.....I had the ravioli and my usually unimpressed boyfriend chose the angel hair pasta with pancetta. Our food was phenomenal. For dessert we had the bread pudding and we died and went to heaven. The only... More

Went for an early dinner, which was great, before going to see a movie. After the movie went back for dessert, which was also great. Only complaint, at dessert it was so loud I could hardly hear my wife; I am partially deaf in one ear so initially didn't say anything, but after we left and my wife said she... More
