With great bread as a base, you can't go wrong with either sandwiches or pizzas, and the desserts? Die haben in Himmel gebäckt.

We stopped by the bakery and did not eat at the restaurant. I purchased some rolls for our sandwiches that I was going to make at the lake. What fantastic bread! The price was reasonable for the bread we bought. It was worth stopping in to get some bread. The kids enjoyed hearing the employees interact with some of the... More

This is a fantastic restaurant if you know what you are in for. It is the best place in Clarksville to get authentic German food. Go there for the experience, but do not go expecting it to be 'typical'. You enter the restaurant and order before sitting. The feel of the restaurant is that of an indoor-picnic. There is a... More

Such a unique place. Delicious pastries! Can't wait to go back again. Highly recommend! Go early in the day for particular pastries because they can run out quickly.

Thank you tripadvisor for pointing me in the right direction! The broetchen was just like the rolls I'd get from the bakery in my grandma's hometown. The bread if wonderful, the desserts are beautiful and just as tasty! They even have gluten-free options. If you're looking for something different, something homemade, this is a gem of a place to go!

So happy to find this bakery/cafe! The breads are amazing, some of which have organic flours. The pastries are authentic tasting (I have lived in Germany). Breakfast is so good. The Leberkase is my favorite. The bean soup was yummy, too!

It was real! I stepped back in time where the pastries were displayed in the case and all the woman employees wore head scarfs and spoke German I think. There specialty is fresh bread that they bake daily at 3:00 am! A gem of a place!

Wonderful sandwiches and soups. Decadent desserts!!! Clean charming dining area. It may take a few minutes to get your order but that is because it is made after you order it, not sitting under a heat lamp in the back. The breads and desserts are available for take out and I recommend that you do just that!!!
