Great place to eat in Clarksville, TN

I found this place on Tripadvisor and I'm glad I stopped in for dinner. The beer cheese dip is great! It is made with their red ale and it is a great way to start the meal. I had the NY strip steak and it was cooked perfectly. Their beers are pretty decent as well. I would recommend making a... read more

One of the best non chain restaurants in Clarksville, TN. Great downtown location, good food and supports the community.

Went several times. The best thing on the menu are the flatbreads which are awesome. Downside is the noise and crowd. Burgers and other items were all good, but nothing special.

We wanted to see historic Clarksville so headed downtown. Quite a ways from everything right off the freeway. Restaurant we headed to was closed. Found someone on the street and asked about restaurants in the area. This was the recommendation. He was spot on! Loved the pizza but didn't have the room for the beer dip. Next time would love... A large group of us recently visited this establisment, many of us being from out of town. The server seemed to be either overwhelmed by the size of our group, inexperienced, or just plain bad at her job. Whatever the case, someone in managment should have stepped in gotten her help. A very large, very greasy pizza was dumped off... More

Black Horse draws many customers for their in-house brewed beer. My friends tell me it is wonderful. HOWEVER, I am not a beer drinker, so I will tell you about their pizzas. The variety and uniqueness of flavors makes it hard to choose which one I want, but am motivated to plan my next trip and a different choice--or maybe... More

I've been coming here for years. The pizza is always a win and the beer is tasty. I like the vanilla. I have never had a terrible meal there taste wise.

Definitely more of a college hang out. We stopped in for dinner while traveling across the state on I-24 after trying some of their beer in Nashville. I had very high hopes that were let down a bit....probably since my home town has such a strong and competitive micro-brewery presence. Ordered some food and a flight of beer. This is... More

Good for business lunches, couples, and groups of adult friends. The menu might not appear to be extensive, but it offers a good variety of choices that are well prepared. Parking downtown is free on the weekends and weekends (and the first hour is free at metered parking during the week).
