This is my 2nd visit to Black Horse. This time, I brought my kids for lunch on Saturday. Everything we had was good. I especially like the pretzels & beer cheese dip. About 10 minutes after we arrived, a huge, noisy party was seated next to us. But, other than that, everything was great! I also really liked the black... More

I am from the Baltimore-DC area and have travelled extensively in the east coast and to California. I lived in Clarksville for two years on a military assignment. Let's get one thing out of the way, I was under no pretense that I would find any restaurants in Clarksville that would be considered above average. I have been to Black... More

Of all the places I've been to in Clarksville, this is one of the best. The food is simply excellent, and the beer selection is great. This is a gem for a mid-sized city like Clarksville.

Great food and I really love that its in an old, remodeled building dow town. I do not like how they pack everyone in like sardines and both of my dining experiences I gelt like the wait staff could be nicer! Border line rude! They seem very stressed!

Had the pulled pork and IPA. Both excellent. Only sell growlers, which was too big for my needs. Would have bought several bullets if they did that. Would eat here again next time in Clarksville.

Staying overnight in Clarksville on our way to St. Louis and checked out reviews of different restaurants. Glad we came on the Black Horse. Atmosphere is really up! Loved the old brick building. I had the charred pork chops and Mac-n-cheese. Both were outstanding. Wait staff was really friendly and helpful. Don't know that we'll be back this way but... More

I may have a pretty hard biased being from the west where bourbon and whiskey are not king but the selection that they offer here are far less than superior to the canned offering at your local grocery store. We decided that a beer flight would be the way to go since we had never visited before and were looking... More

A lot of people make this place out to be spectacular, but I feels it's just OK. There is better pizza in Clarksville and it is operpriced. More like bar food with 5 star dining prices. You can get your regular run of the mill burgers, fries, pizza or salads here. Nothing to write home about.

I've never her a bad meal at black horse in 6 years. I've had burgers, pizza, portabella sandwich, salad, and best of all the beer cheese dip. Service is always good and quick, even in large parties (10-25).
