Consistent quality every time. I started going to the Black Horse once or twice a month and have been absolutely pleased with quality of food and service. The basic burger is almost too much to eat but is grilled to perfection. Their customized pizzas are among the best I have ever tasted. The only problem I have ever had involved... More

We were pointed to this place by hotel staff and boy did they hit it right. They brew their own beers and I did a flight to try them all. Very good and I would drink some of them again without a problem. Not the best but I have an award winning micro in my hometown. The food was great... More

This place is THE place for food in Clarksville. It's excellent quality with a pub style environment that is relaxing. They brew their own beer in house. I've never had it, but my friends and family rave about it. For my celiac friends, they have GLUTEN FREE pizza, just make sure to specify to the waitress how important it is... More

After travelling 800+ miles on a holiday trip to the midwest, we found lodging in Clarksville Tn. and was directed by the hotel clerk to visit The Blackhorse Pub and Brewery. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent and even though they we're busy with holiday business the staff kept it together and got it right. The "old town" section... More

When visiting Clarksville, we always have to eat here at least once. We love their micro-brews and the chips and beer cheese dip. Pizzas are always good, too! Depending on when you go there could be a wait so be prepared. I think the longest we had to wait is about 30 minutes but we just had a beer while... More

The only bad thing I can say is how incredibly busy it was. The appetizer was wonderful along with the desert. On to of that it was probably the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. The prime rib sandwich was good but nothing special. I will definitely go back.

When in Clarksville for an event at APSU we always patronize the Blackhorse. My hubby loves their brews and we enjoy the pizza. Another favorite are the chips and beer cheese. There is usually a wait so get their early or be prepared to wait if it is on the weekend. We had to wait about 30 minutes but we... More

OMG...my rib eye and mashed potatoes were delicious. I don't know what kind of cream was on top but it stole my heart. Will definitely come back.
