Wonderful meal

My husband and I were in Chattanooga over the weekend and decided to try Blue Water Grille. It was Valentine's weekend and I had tried to make a reservation earlier in the week, but they did not have any times left. We went and had about an hour wait, but it was worth it! I only had 10-15 minutes for lunch to be able to catch my flight and I really wanted to try this place as I had heard a lot about it. I was seated at the bar and my server tried her best to make sure food came in a timely fashion. I had the Mahi dish for lunch. It was... More

Sunday brunch is always a hit with my family. The food is delicious, atmosphere is wonderful. I enjoyed the live music. There is also the outside eating area which I like on warm days. The crepes, crab omelets, french toast...I can go on and on! This is a treat for my husband when I suggest we go here to eat... More

Visited the wonderful TN Aquarium and stopped by Blue Waters Grill on the way home. Had live music so a pleasant luncheon. Food was varied and enjoyable. Service was a little spotty but to give them some slack, it was quite busy.

Perhaps it was the holiday weekend we visited, but the restaurant was almost empty except for a few tourists. Surprisingly, therefore, the service was pretty slow and we weren't overwhelmed with the whole experience.

Met another couple there before an evening show. Service was slow getting started and continued through the meal. The "night manager" got involved and that only made it worse. Now not only was our server not doing what he was supposed to, neither was the night manager. Working together, they were totally confused. It will be a while before I... More

My wife and I have wanted to eat here since it opened but have never made the effort to go. We usually go next door to Big River but it was too crowded and there was an open table at the bar at Blue Water. The dinners we had (wife - lobster mac & cheese; me - stuffed sole) were... More

If you happen to go over to the Tennessee Aquarium and like me started to work up and appetite with all the fish you saw, well you in luck! I found the Blue Water Grille to be an excellent dinning experience. I had the grouper and it was so fresh I almost felt guilty after seeing his cousins earlier that... More

We had enjoyed a great day of sightseeing and discovery in Chattanooga and saw this restaurant (not far from the MoonPie General Store). What a delicious find in a lovely atmosphere! Our waiter was attentive, very well informed, and welcoming. The menu format was unique and very readable, as well as "educational". The Champagne Mojito was excellent. We shared the... More

Loved the decor. Especially the glass pieces. Husband had lobster bisque soup and said it wasn't the greatest... Like maybe the lobster just swam though it. I had the stuffed pasta shells and it seemed like they had been sitting for awhile, edges of shells a little crunchy.
