This is our favorite Thai restaurant that we've ever tried. Wish we lived closer and could eat there every week. We stop in when we're in town and really looked forward to the next trip. Very good flavor and excellent choices on the menu. Great service. Loved it!

Love the owners. Eat there several times each month. Have had better elsewhere but this is one of my favorites for Thai in Chattanooga. They try hard and are very friendly. If you want a quick in and out, this isn't it. If you want a good Thai meal...give it a shot.

I have to say this is the best Thai in this town. Although I'm not wowed by it. The rice is overlooked and mushy and an add-on price. Their food has more depth of flavor than their competitors and seems more authentic to me. The owner will make you dishes not on the menu. Just tell her what you're craving.... More

If I wrote a review for every time we ate at Sawasdee, it might overwhelm tripadvisor! It's become a joke - my husband will ask "where do you want to eat?" and all I have to do is look at him...OF COURSE the answer is always Sawasdee. We buy gift certificates to share and send people here as often as... More

I must be a glutton for punishment, because I have visited this place numerous times since discovering it, and each time has been progressively worse. The place always looks like a train wreck, with utensils and mess on front tables. The cook\owner does not make consistent portions nor use the same spices or vegetables on the EXACT SAME DISHES. The... More

I have never been to Thailand and so cannot comment on the authenticity. All I know is - I LIKE IT! The owner and employees are very friendly, service is great, food is delish. This is my all time favorite restaurant and I'd eat here every day if I had my way. My normal order is the panang curry with... More

Those who know my profile, I LIVED in Thailand. My partner is Thai. Please take my advice. The servers and proprietor are lovely. Very friendly. However, when I sat down and ordered a Singha, pronounced "Sing" with no "ha, but the waitress said "SingHA" I was concerned from the start. Food-wise, I was right. We ordered tom kah gai (spicy/sour... More

In a rather ordinary, low key setting, you'll get the best Thai food available in Chattanooga. So, if you're going want Thai food, and not just restaurant's decor, choose Suwasdee. You won't be disappointed. This is a family owned and managed restaurant.

It makes me really sad that Rain is rated higher than Sawasdee. This is an actual Thai restaurant, not some boring southern version of one. Everything is delicious. It's small and cute, and the owner is nice. She speaks some English, and will help you choose an entree. This is my favorite restaurant! Much more recommended than some of the... More

There are three other Thai places in Chattanooga and I like them all. I have favorite dishes at each of them. But, this one is my favorite. Its a two person show, one in the front and one in the back so if they are busy, well, don't be in a hurry. They have the biggest menu all. If you... More
