If you don't know that Clumpies charges by the ounce - you end up getting wripped off. Trip Advisors describes Clumpies staff as laid back - that's nice for "not friendly and not helpful" There's no display showing what one ounce of icecream looks like. This was a great break from the afternoon heat. All the ice cream is made local. The staff was laid back and cool to talk to. Talk about good ice cream! This place beats all of the chain stores and I'm glad to see local places doing well. more

Yum! My husband and I stopped by Clumpies during a recent trip to Chattanooga. I asked for a milkshake with hot fudge in it....the nice woman who made my shake made a concerted effort to make sure there were THREE layers of hot fudge for me to enjoy. We stopped by here because we were visiting Coolidge Park and we have a buy one get one free coupon. Our kids loved the ice cream and our son wanted more.
