We went on an early Saturday morning as we had been told the wait here is long. There is no parking for the restaurant. You just have to hope to find onstreet parking. It is really cold due to improper heat. As we were waiting on our food there was a roach on one of the chairs at our table.... More

Funky little restaurant in an old house tucked away in a residential neighborhood across the river from downtown Chattanooga. Pancakes, omelets, burritos, sandwiches, etc. Huge (not an exaggeration) portions, wonderful food. Very few tables, some bar seating, a porch and patio to enjoy mild mountain weather. We were warned about the wait on weekends. Definitely worth it. Fair prices, friendly... More

I visited this place on nov 16. We were told the wait would be 30 to 45 mins. A table opened up and we were to be seated next. The host told me that I had to wait till a spot at the bar opened up because a party of six came in after I arrived and they needed that... More

This is one of the best places to eat breakfast my wife and I have found. We have traveled 2 hours out of our way just to eat there. The only negative thing is they need a bigger place to seat more people the wait can be long sometimes but it's worth it.

Very cool place for breakfast. We arrived early to avoid a wait. It was simply good food with a friendly staff. It is a local place with a local crowd. Atmosphere was neat.

We arrived with 6 people in our party. We were told the wait was 45 minutes. At 1 hr and 15 of waiting, were were told wait was another 30 minutes.. Place is very small and simply cannot handled "bigger" parties. Host should have told us they will put smaller parties in front of us... Of course we left...

A neat little out of the way place with excellent food and service. We had to wait short period of time for a table but we where a party of nine so that was to be expected. Service was very good and food was great. We where there for breakfast and glad we made a special trip to try the... More

They tell you up front on the menu to expect a 30 minute wait on the average after ordering your food. That's fine...good to know if you are in a hurry. Both times (and my visits were a year apart) they were "short staffed". Both times waited for a table in their very limited indoor seating. Both times they were... More

We stopped at Aretha Frankensteins for breakfast during a road trip. It is located in the middle of a neighborhood in an interesting kitschy older home. There is a great counter/bar area if you’d rather not sit at a table and there is also some nice outdoor seating if you are lucky enough to get one of those tables. The... More

I've heard about this place before and never got around to visiting it when I went to Chattanooga. On this trip, I thought to go ahead and do it. After reading reviews, i was worried about finding parking and the wait time, but had no issues. We arrived on a Friday afternoon for lunch, and parked right on the road... More
