Mother-Daughter Getaway

This quirky restaurant was super cute. It's small & popular so I was surprised we were seated so promptly. The real star here are the pancakes. I had the slim stack blueberry pancakes...OMG! So delicious. It appeared (as we were facing kitchen) that much of the food is homemade. Scott was an... read more

A unique setting with incredible food. Portions are very large. We ate breakfast. Our children split pancakes with an order of bacon. I had the spinach feta omelet and it was absolutely delicious. It was made with 3 eggs plus you choose a side. The coffee is quite good here as well. My husband had the Super Dave Scramble which... More

My wife found this little (it was small) gem on the internet during our couples trip to Chattanooga. We actually drove past it as it sits sort of behind another business and as I mentioned it is small. We visited for breakfast about 930 on a Wed. Morning. Greeted promptly when we entered we sat ourselves immediately. Our server came... More

Best belgium waffle I have ever tasted!!! There will be at least a 30 minute wait so don't wait until you're starving. One thing that was a turn off, I'm an animal lover, but I don't want them where I'm eating and they allowed this guy to come in and eat with his cat :-(

Very good but different kind of place. Very friendly staff. Food was good. Large portions served promptly. Good value for the money.

If you are looking for something different, this is it. We set our GPS for the address of this place and at first thought it had led us wrong as we headed into a residential neighborhood. Drove right by the place, but caught sight of it on the turnaround, up on a little hill. We stepped in the door and... More

At a farewell breakfast with friends as we were leaving Chattanooga, we enjoyed the atmosphere at Aretha's. My companions loved their waffles, but our cheese grits were so spicy as to be inedible (and we are from New Orleans!) The bread was freshly made, waitress attentive. If you like a different, fun place, Aretha's is a good bet, but avoid... More

If you are visiting Chattanooga,TN this is a must visit restaurant. A few miles away from the city but it is worth the drive. The place is small and on the weekend the wait can be extensive. We went during the week and got right in. The decorating is eclectic. Fun to reminisce about our childhood. The food was superb... More

My brother has been here in the past and he insisted we go on a recent trip. As we left he looked at me and asked if I realized why it was so trendy ... my response was surprising to him. You have got to be kidding!! My first choice (insane waffles) ... not available My second choice (philly cheese... More
