Killer Breakfast

Hidden in a residential area, this place is a jewel. While there is a wait for seating and food (only seats 25 inside) it is well worth it. Wait staff is friendly, food portions are huge and the flavor is fantastic. Had a Mexican omelette and it was all I could do to finish my plate. Large... read more

Hidden in a residential Chatanooga neighborhood, this is one spot you need to try. Funky vibe with great breakfast and lunch. Most rave about the breakfasts (rightfully so) but the burritos are also great. Don't let the negative reviews concerning service bother you...it's not a fancy restaurant, it's a busy little dive and the staff are just fine. Been there... More

Come hungry! Portions are generous on all items. The pancakes are an inch thick and 6 or 7 inches around, light and airy. Waffles are good, too. The cathead biscuits are huge and fluffy. Omlets are very good. Atmosphere is funky, lots of posters of music groups, made up cereal boxes, etc. In an old converted house in the middle... More

This place use to be good but now they're just resting on their laurels. You'll wait forever and the staff could care less. They're inattentive and act like they're doing you a favor since you're lucky enough to get one of the 10 tables at this place. Save your time and money and try another breakfast spot in Chattanooga.

We were from out of town and went there to eat with a group of 12 at 10:30 in the morning we asked if we could sit outside since there were only 4 small tables inside and there plenty of room on the patio inside the guy working said no the owner doesn't allow that before noon and then said... Always heard about this place, but never visited until this year. I shouldn't have waited this long to try it! The place is small, and you will probably have to wait to be seated. Such a cool place inside. The pancakes are unlike any I've had before. They were delicious! And huge. All the food we ordered was excellent. Good... More

We found this unique restaurant by accident while driving thru the North Shore area. Small dining area so expect a wait but worth it. I ordered the "slim stack" pancakes(2) and they were an inch thick. Unbelievably delicious. My husband had an omelet that took up half his plate and the biscuit took up the other half. Unique atmosphere, definitely... More

This place is a diamond in the rough! We found out about this gem from a local. There's always a ridiculous wait, but it's SO worth it! I believe we had a 45+ minute wait for two people on a Sunday morning. Not a problem as we drank "8 balls" until we were seated, yup! Do yourself a favor and... More

We were in town visiting from Florida over 4th of July weekend and after reading all the positive reviews on TA we knew we had to check this place out. When we realized it was only a 10min walk from the house we rented it was a done deal. Our teen kids were still asleep when we got up on... More

The first thing you will notice about AF is the long wait to be seated. I purposefully went during their busiest, brunch hours on a weekend to see how bad it could be. I had a 30 minute wait for 1 person and that was for a bar *or* table seat. I told them I'd take anything. A party of... More
