Hard to review...

No question the food is good....but is any food worth and hour or 2 of your time on a Sunday? I can't imagine anyone would say yes. It's a great breakfast for sure. We went to Aretha's around 4:30pm which gave us the place to ourselves. The staff was friendly, in no uncertain terms suggested the pancakes; WOW. The best pancake I've ever had. Also tried was the breakfast burrito- amazing.

A very small and heavily decorated place. The food is impeccable! The decor is interesting and fun. The wait to be seated is long but really worth it. Can't wait to go back!

Everyone in our family of 4 loved Aretha Frankenstein's! The pancakes are to die for! My toddler could only eat 1/2 of a pancake so my 8 year old devoured the leftovers. My husband enjoyed nachos and my burrito was very good. This fantastic find is located on the North Shore of Chattanooga reminds me of West Asheville. Can't wait... More

We went to Aretha's for our first trip to Chattanooga two years ago and had to visit again during our second visit to Chattanooga and it didn't disappoint. We loved their blueberry pancakes (amazing) the first time but wanted to try their waffle this time and it was just as amazing!

Hidden in a residential Chatanooga neighborhood, this is one spot you need to try. Funky vibe with great breakfast and lunch. Most rave about the breakfasts (rightfully so) but the burritos are also great. Don't let the negative reviews concerning service bother you...it's not a fancy restaurant, it's a busy little dive and the staff are just fine. Been there... More

Come hungry! Portions are generous on all items. The pancakes are an inch thick and 6 or 7 inches around, light and airy. Waffles are good, too. The cathead biscuits are huge and fluffy. Omlets are very good. Atmosphere is funky, lots of posters of music groups, made up cereal boxes, etc. In an old converted house in the middle... More

This place use to be good but now they're just resting on their laurels. You'll wait forever and the staff could care less. They're inattentive and act like they're doing you a favor since you're lucky enough to get one of the 10 tables at this place. Save your time and money and try another breakfast spot in Chattanooga.

We were from out of town and went there to eat with a group of 12 at 10:30 in the morning we asked if we could sit outside since there were only 4 small tables inside and there plenty of room on the patio inside the guy working said no the owner doesn't allow that before noon and then said...
