Great for breakfast

Very satisfied with the breakfast we had at The Blue Plate. They focus on locally sourced items...Benton's bacon, Aretha Frankenstein's pancakes, etc. And although the breakfast menu wasn't lengthy, it was hard to decide between the options as they all sounded so good. The star for me was the... read more

But the price is too much for this quality of food. That is why I gave it an average. Also good luck finding parking

Stopped in for a leisurely bite in between visits to the Aquarium. Just got soup and chips. The Corn Chowder was excellent, but the chips were a bit burned. Cute retro vibe. Right down by the river's edge.

The burgers really were some of the best we've ever had. The double stack cheeseburger was served on a bun that just melted in your mouth. It was our favorite. We also tried the pork bbq with the mac & cheese on it and it was crazy good. The burger on the rye bread could use some special dressing but... More

We ate here at 3:00 pm on a Wednesday afternoon during holiday break. Perfect location near the aquarium - we ate here between visits to the two buildings. We loved all the choices of side dishes and we enjoyed each except for the potato chips that came with the sandwiches - they were almost burnt and had no seasoning. The... More

We only had burgers and salads while there, but good portions, reasonable prices, and food very good. Casual, good for families, and you can watch the outdoor skating rink. Tables outside as well.

We enjoyed The Blue Plate during our stay in Chattanooga. It's a twist on a diner setting, making it a bit interesting. During our visit, there was a large Christmas tree and skating rink next to The Blue Plate and we overlooked that. It was nice, giving us the holiday feeling. We had the Loaded Chips to start. They were... More

Server was polite. A runner delivered the food, and it was wrong. Not prepared as ordered. Server got it fixed, but after time. A burger and a portobello burger with 2 ice teas wS $21.00 and change! No sides, not even chips. With a tip it was $25. That was insane and not a good value. Burger was like two... More
