My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Thompson house, one of the accomodations of the Bluff View Inn, located next to Rembrandt's Coffee house. Guests of the B&B receive vouchers for breakfast at Rembrandt's coffee house during the week, and in the Mclellan house during weekends. We had breakfast once at each location. The choices for breakfast... More

This is a cozy cafe that focuses on coffee and sweets. My friend and I ordered four different sweets to sample and enjoyed them all. I recommend the caprese panini for lunch. The outdoor seating is really nice and the location is great for walking over to see the river and art galleries.

We dropped in for breakfast. It was overpriced for a cold bacon egg and cheese sandwich. The French toast was okay but not great. If you want some coffee it's a nice cup, anything other than that, not so much.

Had breakfast here - really delicious biscuits, and a HUGE array of sweets. Located in the arts district - very charming.

I recently found out about the art district, and my luck was great as I parked just across the street from Rembrandt's where I had planned on dining. Even luckier was the tasty breakfast to which I was treated. My selection was the "Bees Knees" which is a French toast plate stuffed with sweetened brie and served with strawberries and... More

I bet they have over 50 varieties of tea and many coffee drinks, pastries, and treats. Rembrandt's is located near the art museum and is a great little coffee house. Beverages and pastries are served on real plates (unless you get it to go) a nice change from the Starbucks way of life with disposable containers. Prices seemed very reasonable.... More

Rembrandts put me "over the rainbow"! Beautiful day, outside seating, exquisite foods and pastries and service faster than flying monkeys in the skies. What's NOT to enjoy? Definitely want to visit while in Chattanooga.

This is our favorite spot to stop for coffee when we are passing through Chattanooga. It is never a quick stop during our road trips, but it is always well worth the time. The employees are very cordial and the shop is cozy. We have enjoyed sitting inside when it is too hot or too cold and really enjoyed the... More

Very quaint, I always make a point of stopping when I am in the area. The macaroons are some of the best I have ever had. The sandwiches are lackluster, I expected at least Panera quality, but far below.
